Okay guys - so this a freestyle discussion - you can either give me your favourite Christmas Dinner recipe or favourite Christmas food. I remember my mom making duck - may not sound like it would be good - but it was. She sometimes made lamb as well. The best dinners are those spend with family!

Roast chicken sounds good for right now - my husband would love pizza for Thanksgiving - or every day if he could!

i like baked ham christmas dinners. And i have had duck before too, its really good cause i like dark meat! But there is not a lot of meat on a duck! lol. I also like potato stuffing. I happened to have made some this year with my ham, and although it wasn't as good as when my mom makes it, it was still pretty good. Mm. I miss my moms cooking! That and i miss someone else doing all the work lol!

Yes i think christamas is best spent with family. My favourite christmas food is sea food we live in Australia, and an aussie christmas banquet is usually lots of seafood and a ham lol... i love prawns! i cant wait til christmas.

I so agree ozzie, Christmas is for family, that's why so many celebrate it even if its not part of their religous beliefs. I'd like to celebrate an Aussie Christmas - I love seafood! Well except for strong tasting fish like Salmon. Enjoy your holidays.

My favourite christmas dinner is a traditional dinner with turkey. I like having the turkey dinner with roast potatoes, carrots and peas aswell as a few boiled potatoes and gravy. I also like having a few yorkshire puddings and sage & onion stuffing. I don't like christmas pudding, so i don't usually have a pudding unless i just have custard on its own instead. Its a english traditional dinner for christmas day, but i've always enjoyed it....... It always seems to taste nicer on christmas day than any other day. ~Joeys wife

It all sounds yummy - we'll be at your house! Well except for the puddings - I like savoury more then sweet.
