I think my hard drive is having problems - It gets VERY hot while I work, and anotherisue, wont' go into, but my question, if it crashes or maybe before it crashes, I know I can buy another harddrive, but how do I get what's on the old one onto the new one? And what if I have a virus I dont know about (I use 5 differnet anti virus and other protetion programs and altough dont' have any problems now, maybe I have something I dont know about - just an "in case of" kind of question) If is copy to a flas disk, and then to the new hard drive, I'll be taking that virus with it. Or what if all I have on the old drive won't fit on the flash. Or, I could go on with questions, as I know nothing about it, but can anyone give me some advise on how to handle te transfer? I also havea warranty with HP that if they deem it necessary, they will replace the HD, but again, how do I handle the transfer? Thanks for any suggestions and tips.

Sounds like a whole lot of work is in store for you! If you have a freep backup0 site online, it might be a good idea to upload some of your most important stuff to that. Here are a few companies that offer frees storage. I'm not sure which is best: http://www.idrive.com/ https://ewedrive.com/ http://www.xdrive.com/ Good luck.
