Sometimes. I find shopping wear I live an hasstle, you always find it's the time when everyone has to do something and in more cases it's those who have no respect for others. Pushers, smokers, fools, theifs, on the second hand it's nice when you see someone with the good 'ol festive spirit. Secret to combat it... Well I take an hammer out with me, I also attach two timmy mallets to the side of my arms and when I swing them they disapear. hehe Okay I'm joking. I ignore it :) ~Joey

I have never found the holidays to be stressful. It's a magical time of year, with family and friends near. A kitchen filled with wonderful smells. I love the shopping, and the decorating, Christmas music and movies. And when someone is stressing over the season, I tell them, it will all work out. Don't sweat the small stuff, I mean will one light not blinking on the tree really matter a year from now, 6 years from now. Will we even remember who gave what to who 5 years from now? No, but the smells, and sights, and time we shared with friends and family will matter, and will be remembered.

Usually I do find the holidays stressful. This year I am not well enough to get all stressed out. I am not able to clean the house, or bake, or run around and buy gifts. So I have just decided i do not care about all that. Christmas will come anyways - and I will be able to enjoy Christmas eve anyways. Well, I am a little bit worried about one thing. I have two gifts for some kids I know. My man has said he will deliver them, but I am not sure he will have the time. Other than that - I'm cool calm and collected Hope you'll have a wonderful Christmas

I don't get stressed because I start in July, do what I can, and if I don't get everything finished, I save it for next year. That way I have a head start! Just keep repeating 'This is NOT our only Christmas'... it helps to keep things in perspective.

The holidays are certainly stressful and the worst part is the holiday dinner. I have to cook the turkey and ham and the potato salad, then I have to make a nice mixed greens salad, fry some chicken, make some rice, make some gravy, make a whole time of steamed vegetables with my mother. Cleaning up the house and getting everything just perfect is what I aim at. To release the stress I usually think very positive and don't leave everything for the last minute. Things do come up and mess with your plans, but think positive and go around it and do what you need to do.
