I believe that ple do do collection of things in some part of their lifes or even till now or maybe in the near future.. For me, i used to collect stamps (because of the values) but have given up =P then i collect phonecards too but give up also as now seldom can find card phones too as handphone is very popular and normal :) I did try to collect figurines too but i'm not much of a comic lover, so i gave those figurines to my frenz and it became his precious collectibles now =D And i think that i have tried and collected quite a number of things but it always failed to keep me going :( others, include lighters, comics, tissue paper wrappers and even movie tickets ^_^ LOL.. Now come to think of it, actually i'm quite foolish isn't it?? LOL.. However i found something which i can collect and store it's value, which is old dollar notes and coins :) up till now, i'm still searching and keeping all those.. hehe.. How about u?? ^_^

lol =D YEah, very old post huh?? lol =D I'm surprised to see it being 'discussed' again.. hehe Well, i do collect garbage at home too, especially my mom.. lol =D Whatever she thinks can be reused again, she will keep or rather 'collect'.. lol =D IN the end, all those things are left unused, 'collecting' dust instead.. haha I guess stamps are the most basic things whereby most ple collect because it's supposed to be the most valuable among all.. hehe Posters and pictures are part of my collection too, but it's too expensive for my collection and thus i gave up.. haha =D Which was your favourtie band then?? hehe Collecting of BF's?? lol =D THat's new to me!! How many did u managed to collect in the end?? haha =D Frenz, u definitely will have alot, because now u already have me in your collection.. haha =D Yup, i'm still keeping those old coins and notes

i think most people went thru that stage of collecting something... especially stamps... but like you, ive given up on that as well. i also collected basketball cards, anime cards, prepaid cards which i used to cover my cabinet, "branded" tissue paper, bus tickets, movie tickets, dried flowers (petals), love letters (?), and the thing you remove or pop when opening a soda in can which i used as a keychain, oh.. keychains, figurines, IDs, and hmm.. a lot more, most of those collections i kept but most i already threw away especially the bus tickets... ehhehe.. i think they have a term for someone who collects a variety of stuff and doesnt throw it... hmmm.. i forgot... but its a trait of schizophrenic though...

exactly. i actually collect things because of their significance, like how it could remind me of things ive done or ive been thru, like the branded tissue paper, i collect those because it would remind me when i first ate at that resto and who i was with... *mushy..* heheh

SO she wrote down her thanks on the piece of napkin and pass it to my fren whom pass it to me, as i was not around when she left.. Too bad, she doesn't know my name so she din write my name on it.. lol =D After which, the next day, i went to laminate the napkin and been keeping it till now.. lol

re antiques, it depends on where you shop - i have gotten some nice stuff at thrift stores and garage sales where people dont realize the worth of the stuff.

I do have a collection, mine is of books. I have so many books in my room right now that I don't know what to do with. I keep getting new ones and then I have no place to put the new ones. If i have some that I don't read or didn't like then I will take them to half price books and sell them, then Iend up getting more new books and the cycle begins all over again lol.
