My Idea for a perfect Survivor Season

United States

I would love to see them start the show off in a cluster of islands where each person has their own island. They start of with trying to win individual immunity. Then EVERYone comes together for the first tribal counsel. Then they split the group into 3 tribes of 5 people each. Every 3 days the 2 tribes that do not win immunity have to go to tribal and vote one person out. After each tribal those 2 teams are mixed up randomly. That way you never know where your alliance will end up. It also makes it to where a dominant team of 5 won't just run away with the entire show. That would really change up the game to the point where no one would know what to do next. What do you all think?

Wow you really thought this out! I like the idea of constant mix ups b/c it means that the team that wins gets the advantage of keeping alliances, while the other two have to work harder at it. I liked how on this season they got to "steal" a team member whenever they won, which is how James got the immunity idols. Anything to mix it up or change teammates would make it much more interesting.

Or another random idea would be that once they merge, the person who wins immunity cannot vote. Maybe that would mix it up b/c then people would want immunity but also not want it b/c it cancels out their vote! I don't know why I thought of that, I just want to change things up next season.

Oh yeah that would be interesting! Anything to bring out more of the outwit part of the game would be great. I think the physical part has gotten dull and it's time for more people using the brains.

I like that one too. Or even going back to Exile Island theme, but instead of the winning team sending someone from the loosing team to exile Island, after each immunity challange each person on the winning team draws a stone. Who ever gets the "special" stone must pick someone from their own team to go to Exile Island. That person cannot be voted off AND they cannot vote for anyone. That would help people see where the alliances really are. If anyone can figure who to send a message to mark burnett let me know. The way i see it is they let people be on the show, but what about letting us who love the show but can't be on give some suggestions for the show or for competitions etc. Just a thought.

Something needs to be done to change it up. I watched the first season and started to watch the second until I seen the samething was happening. They do need to do something like that so they wouldn't have a chance at making alliances.

If you have only seen the 1st and part of the second then you need to see the rest because there have been a LOT of twist and turns.

they really have done a lot of different things.. they have changed it up so many ways now. One season they started off with 3 teams.. They have had Mean against woman.. Young people against Older ones. Now someone get voted off the to another are to look for a immunity Idol. It is not always the same. I hope you try it again soon!

Well it certainly would be interesting to see how people decide who to vote off at that first council then. Do you even see the others before it? With this strike it may be a possible idea. :)

I would say that you just let them do the very first vote from what they learn about people at the tribal. You knowm like first impressions ONLY. Nothing else to go on. Each survivor gets to make one statement. That statement will either keep them on or get them voted off.

Would that not be more expensive as they would need more camera men to film each individual? I would say one tribe to an island, so that they would not know what the others do, and you can see how hard they really work when they think no one is about. It would make the season a little shorter though.

Yes but only for the first 3 days. Besides, look at how much they are making off of the show. A change up like this would be so radically different that it would take both the players and the viewer by surprise. Oh how I love a good surprise in Survivor.

that could work since most teams form alliance and the majority of those would like to vote off someone who they think is the strongest one or a threat to them winning the prize. maybe you should send this to the production staff of survivor. i think that they would give this a shot... a twist to a new season..
