do your kids do anything special at school for the holliday's. my 4 year old daughter had her party today. they had a pankake breakfast for the parents and the kindergarden kids and then they went up and sang songs on stage. then we went back to their class and made crafts with them. it was so cute to see them in their classes. it was also pj day so they got to wear their pj's all day. she tried to convince me i had to wear mine there too.

There is a Christmas concert at the school tomorrow at 12:45 (I think). They really didn't send any information home, just the date and time and it said come if you want. Today the Kindergartens did a little show for their families. I went with my younger 2 girls (hubby had a doctor's appt). It was cute. they sang about 6 songs and it took about 15 minutes. Then we had snacks (each kid had to bring something). Then they went upstairs to get their coats and bags and came back down where we waited about 5 minutes until the rest of the school got out so I could get my oldest (she's in 2nd grade). Now I have to go back tomorrow again for the whole school thing.

i didn't get much info as well. well not right away anyway. my daughter came home from school one day there was a homemade card in her bag she grabbed it fast and said it was a surprise and hid it. so i assumed it was a chrismtas present for me. she's a great secret keeper when it comes to presents. anyway a few days later she went for a sleep over to my mother's. my mother called me and said kierrah had told her of the pj day and how all the parents were invited. i told my mother that kierrah must be making this up cause i had no idea about it. she's 4. anyway then a week goes by and she finally says ok you can have the card. and it just said parents are invited for breakfast. they said nothing about the singing songs on stage so i didn't bring my camera. i'm just glad i did get the info on time

Awwww, that's so cute! My kids are 29 and 24 now, so it's been a while since I've been to a Christmas concert, but I remember those occasions fondly. The kids are so excited and you get caught up in the excitement. When my daughter was in band, she had to practice her trumpet (Good King Wenceslas) over and over and over...I was really glad when the night of the concert arrived because after that it was "Silent Night" for me! LOL!!! We never had to wear PJs, though, being up here in Canada it's much too snowy and freezing....have a wonderful Christmas, my friend!

ha, ha, ha, I am sure the school wouldn't have mind if you wore your pj's, that is if they were appropiate for a school setting.. My son's school doesn't have music class for the kindergarteners, so all they are doing is a Christmas party Friday..:)
