Christmas in the Philippines

I have always wanted to travel but I have never really spent my Christmas away from my family. I am planning to treat my family and spend Christmas somewhere... I was just wondering... where in the Philippines do you think would be the best place to celebrate Christmas? (I am from Baguio City and we have had Christmas here, in Manila and La Union)

it is nice to spent christmas abroad if you have your family with you. i celebrate christmas with my sister at japan but it was not as cool because we are just two and her husband so we are only 3 celebrating it.

Christmas is such a special day for families to gather. In our case, we spent the holidays in Baguio City. It was my first time to be there. I was do thrilled to see the sceneries. The weather was pretty different too.

When did you spend Christmas in Manila. There are now so many improvements and if you came to Manila some years ago for Christmas, I suggest that Manila is still the best for the season.

i can't recall the last time we spent christmas in manila but we frequently go to manila. i for instance, go to manila at least twice a month and stay there for at least 2 days. i would love to spend christmas in manila again but not this year... thanks erminiasanjose! =)

Hi!! Havn't seen you post for a long time. Any place for me is the best to spend Christmas. I had celebrated Christmas in our home, with my family and friends. And I can say its the best Christmas we had ever!! All my brothers and sisters with their families are there. We play games, exchange gifts, had dinner together and it was all fun. I am so happy this Christmas.

Hello dear dolce. Now I think that it is still Christmas time in your country as I have read from some other similar discussions from my friends here that you have a very long Christmas. So I guess that you are still enjoying your Christmas somewhere in the country with your family and friends. Wherever you are, I wish you all the best and good luck. Merry Christmas.

i think, you cant find as beautiful as your home..together with your family, having fun, exchanging gifts, with lots of foods, going to church together, and the most important is that you all in good health..Merry Christmas..

We Filipinos usually go home to our home province or city to spend christmas with our folks, family and love ones. Perhaps this makes us unique. Our tradition is very rich and every Pinoy will agree that "simbamg gabi" or the dawn masses was enjoyable where we see our friends and relatives. The exchanging gifts and of course the noche buena. I know all of you out there had a great fun. We will be now looking forward to celebrate the incoming year 2008- the year of the rat with a BIG BANG.
