Yeah we have a desktop as well but we don't use it because something is wrong with the updates and it is really really slow too.

I think I was going to get a Compaq when I got my Dell but Best Buy screwed me over and we ended up ordering a Dell. I love my computer.

Desktop, Pentium IV 2.66 Duel Core, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB IDE Hard Disk, 52x DVD Combo Drive. Creative 2.1 Inspire speakers , 17" LCD Monitor and it is an assembled one.

Wow. I am not really sure what all of that means. I have a duel core as well on my laptop and a 15 or 16" monitor.

It's depend on your work to select the computer, because if some one is working on the heavy graphics he/she will get the high speed computer with high GPU and ofcourse his/her budget will also increase,
but now a days 3d Games are also getting famous to run on computers and new upcoming OS like vista need high speed processor and graphics.
I am on P4 anyways with VISTA running platform.

Mine is an older model gateway. It doesn't have much storage on it and it's kind of slow. It suit me for what I use it for though. At least I have DSL.

I have a gateway laptop and I don't like it. I love having a laptop but not a gateway.

I have a oooooooold Dell. It needs some help. Its running so slow or should i say walking so slow. lol
