Webcam - Help needed / How do I use it?

I have a webcam installed but I don't know how to use it... My partner has a skype and windows live call accounts. I think???.. But he doesn't use it anymore...
I was wondering can I sign up for my own account so as I can use it or does it only work of one?? I have no idea, and he doesn't know much about it either his friend set it all up for him.....
I want to talk with a friend in New Zealand who just recently got a webcam and is learning how to use too. we would like to be able to chat via webcam...
Please Help, any information would be very greatly appriciated..... Thank you

Well,I think that I can help you.You have to install the webcam drive.i think you may have a drive CD-ROM,you can install the webcam drive from it.It is easy.Just put it into the drive and then the system will find the webcam drive and show it to you,you just need to follow the guide,when it finish,restart you computer,and then you can use it. If you don't have one,you have to download the webcam drive,I can help you to download but you must let me know the size of the webcam.If that is not enough to help you,give me you msn or skype,I will teach you how to install the drive.

The webcam is already installed on the computer, I just don't know how to use it and make a video call... What site do I need to join to be able to talk with somebody eles on webcam??????

I don't have a MSN.... What is a good one to join for viewing on webcam?????
