Do you think it's wrong to say you love everyone?

If a person says "I love you" ..do you take it amiss and think it means more then a kind greeting? I love everyone. I think that is where we are best..when we love everyone..don't you? Only thing is, that in this day and age you can't say "I love you" without someone thinking you are making a date.. LOL

I guess it depends how it seen. I don't mind people telling my love me as a friend, it's actually quite nice but I have had people mean it in the sense they "actually" loved me and I only have room for my wife and son. Personally when it's meant I find it hard to deal with, it scares the hell out of me. ~Joey

Joey: I agree.. I think love ..deep love..is meant only for the love of two are espoused. But occasionally I sometimes write in cards; Love Joy ..or love and prayers.. I believe love is something the world has so little of:)

for me i don't think that saying i love you to everyone is okay... but it depends also sometimes people say i love you, differently to a person they would like to ask out on a date... so it depends to whomand how you said that word...

There is nothing wrong with saying I love you if it is genuine and sincere. If it is just something that one says to end a conversation, though, I do have an issue with that. I personally reserve I love you for my husband and kids. I feel awkward when someone says it to me, though, and I don't know how to respond.
