NBA Double-Header Christmas Day!

Since I don't have cable TV, I look forward seriously to the few games I get to watch on network TV, and you can bet I will be parked right in front of the TV set watching the basketball games on Christmas Day. It is a tradition with my family, and even if I won't have them around I will still be watching. Are you planning to watch the games today? My favorite teams are the Lakers and the Heat. They should both be great games.

My husband has been watching NBA all week. We are planning on going to watch Miami Heat play the Wizards this weekend if we can score some cheap tickets :) My favourite players are Shaq and Dwayne :)

I forgot to mention he wouldn't miss watching the games for anything :) I don't mind it at all - I enjoy watching it too, just not as much as he is :)

I really like NBA basketball, maddysmommy. It opened up a whole new world of sports for me. When I was much younger I always preferred football.

I am not a big fan of basketball. We are going to a friend's house later this afternoon and I won't pay any attention to the television. Too many people to visit with and too much good food. Am sure the men will watch football and have a few drinks to relax. This is one meal I wait for all year since the hostess is an excellent cook.
We have a clear, relatively warm day here today so we won't have a white Christmas.

As I always say, carolbee, to each his/her own, but basketball played on the professional level is a big tradition in my family, and I wouldn't allow anything to keep me from watching the traditional Christmas Day games.

I beg to differ with you, Ngippol! The Lakers, for one, have a fine young team who are just beginning to come into their own-and with Kobe leading them, they will once again be championship material!
