I just finish massaging my parents' back. I've been doing that since I was a little girl. My parents taught me how to massage so that I can help them to massage. LOL When I was a little girl, I used to step on my parents' back to message them. My weight was just right then. Of course, I do not do such a thing now. Their backs will break if I were to do that. =P After all these years of training, I must say I am quite a good massager. I used to help them massage a lot when I was young. Now, I only help them once in a while. How about you? Do you help your Parents' massage their back? When did you start?

Haha.. seems like many of us have stepped on our parents' back when we were young before. Is it only us? I wonder if kids in other countries do the same thing?

Well, I do sometime massage my parent's back. Not all the time though. Mum rarely asks for it. Dad never needed massaging for his back. Most of the time, massages are for the shoulders and the neck. Rarely on the back for massages. So, you getting good eh? Your thumb muscles must be really well developed through years of massaging eh? *grinz*

yeah... I know what you mean. Sometimes massaging my mum, dunno why her shoulders are so stiff! I get sore thumbs after massaging her. But you can see the relieve in her eyes when you are massaging her. It is really good to see that you can actually make some one feel so relieved and good just by massaging them.

Yea. I mean massaging the neck and the shoulders. The back also needs to be 'chui'. I am the 'rough' kind of massager. LOL I am quite a strong girl so I usually use quite a lot of force to massage. My parents like it that way. Some people prefer a forceful massage. Some prefer a gentle massage.

Nope I don't help my parents massage their back, but I wish someone with skills could massage my back! Been having some backaches.. I don't really know how to massage well, as there are a few accupuncture points on our bodies for certain ailments.. so yup.

Hmm... in that case, a good pulsating shower head will be really helpful. Coupled with a good water pressure, you can get lots of relieve from the hot water pounding at your back. The other way is to go for some really relaxing massage at some spa. If that is too expensive, then I have one more method. You gotta have really thick skin to do it. Go to show rooms that have massage machines on display. Sit on them and try it out. Let the sales man yap away. Then tell them you will consider when you are done and walk away feeling refreshed. *naughty* One of the cheapo ways that I employ and always frowned upon by my wife. Heh heh... but heck, it is free and the sales people are not busy serving other people anyways.

I know nuts about the acupuncture points. If you want a massage that presses on th right points, I think going to those TCM will help. If I am not wrong, TCM do have massage services. =)

Oh.. could it be arthritis? Usually knee pains can be arthritis. My mommy has that condition. She needs to take in glucosamine. It helps to replace the cartilage lost due to wear and tear.
