how do you celebrate christmas????

as i m not a christian..we wont celebrate xmas..but i have many of my friend who are christians and seen that how do they celebrate ...one of my friends go to church early in the morning and attend all the prayers till the afternoon..and distribute sweets and food fro homeless,orphans and old age homes..which i feel personally the best way to celebrate xmas...
