My granddaughter is addicted to the Chipmunk Christmas album and I have been playing it since she got here last Saturday....non stop! Music is just about the only thing she enjoys and they are definately her favorite. She's a little sad this year because it's the first time in her 14 years that she hasn't had her brother and father with her on Christmas and I'll do anything I can to help make her feel better. Which means....the chipmunks all day long...lol...I like them too but for me once a day is enough!! Are you still listening to Christmas music too? Is there a point where you stop playing it?

My son loves the chipmunks too and we have a cd playing in our car everywhere we go. He doesn't like it when I sing along to them and only prefers to sing them himself. I am tired of Christmas songs already LOL

Not right now but, I still haven't celebrated Christmas with my daughter and grandson. When they get here sometime next week, we will be playing the Christmas cd's again. After that, I'M DONE WITH CHRISTMAS.....until next year LOL

I have only listened to the Christmas music when I am in the car, but I too have a love for the Chipmunk Christmas album. As a matter of fact, I have had it so long, my copy is on cassette. I usually listen to it every year as I put up my Christmas tree. Much fun!

lol....I don't have it on cd or cassette. We got to keep the rhapsody program up and listened on that for a week now! When my granddaughter goes home that's the end of it for me until next year.

I am actually listening to nothing. My daughter is at a friends house. My husband just left for work. I am enjoying the sweet sound of silence. I am doing laundry and answering posts.

Oh to be listening to silence! I won't get that until probably Saturday and then I have to go to work and I'm afraid to see what kind of canned music will be going on there!

It's not so much Christmas music I'm still listening to, but watching Christmas specials still.. I have a lot of movies and specials I've taped over the years, and I just never seem to have enough time to watch them during Christmas or the few weeks before...so watch them after I feel sorry for you in a way...that chipmunk music must be making you daft...LOL

Lol...I LOVE that song!! I would play it continuously at work, hehehe. I went a few Christmases ago to fill in as a teller at a branch office, and they had an Alvin doll on the counter...I pressed the button by his feet, and viola! I had to call my office and tell a co-worker "LISTEN!!!" She groaned for some reason, lol!

I get tired of Christmas music by Chistmas. It gets turned off by the day after and I hope to not here much more for 11 more months. I have 2 kids that are constantly singing Santa clause is comming to town. Very cute but wow, to much of a great thing. I must be feeling grinchy now, sorry.

Nope, Christmas is over for me, and so is the Christmas music and television specials, thankfully. Now back to normal television services for me :)

well, of course now I'm not. but even when you posted this discussion I wasn't either. I'm pretty much done christmas when christmas is over. I'll leave the decorations up until the 12 days are over (though the 6th is day 12 and I took mine down yesterday.. I usually leave them up until around the weekend after christmas really rather than the 12 days). Other than that I'm done with the movies and I'm done with the music.

That is very sweet of you to do whatever it takes to help her feel better...even listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks! I still liten to George Strait's Christmas CDs, as well as Alan Jackson (who happens to have a guest appearance by the Chipmunks!). I pretty much consider the time between December 1, and January 1 open season for listening to Christmas tunes!

Hello!!! I love Christmas music. It makes me feel the spirit of Christmas. We usually listen to them during the coming of Christmas. When Christmas is done, we still listen to it but not all the time anymore.

I did not really listen to a lot of Christmas music this year..I like to listen but i think it is probably because my hubby has the tv on all of the time.I think the chipmunks are so cute ,and i always get a big kick out of them..I know your granddaughter has been sad , bless her heart it is hard for young ones to understand the ways of the adults sometimes...I would do the same as you if it were my granddaughter, just let her listen to her hearts content...If she loves music so much she needs one of those little players where you put the cd in or tape and has ear phones to it, and she could always listen to her favorite songs...

Yep, we sure are. For us Christmas season is from 25 December till 2nd of February a full 40 days. We do not celebrate Christmas during advent like most people do as this is a time that we spend anticipating the birth of Christ. While we celebrate Christmas for those 40 days we likely will not listen to the music much beyond Epiphany on January 6th. We'll see.

I pretty much stop listening to it the day after Christmas, however, I have been there with a young child that got something like that for Christmas and I've listened to or watched it over and over and over lol. I can't tell you how many times a day I saw the Jungle Book when my youngest (now 18) got that movie! I could have done a one person show of it! lol

I love the chipmunks too, last year its the music that we keep on listening here at the office. but we had to format the computer where the music was installed, so it was all deleted. now, what we had is samba christmas music. its very easy listening. Yes, until now, we do listen to Christmas music. Even christmas is over. I think it will be played until one of us get tired of listening to it. maybe it will be until the 1st or 2nd week of january. by the way, we started playing christmas music in september of this year. :-)

Yes of course! I listen them too, but not whole day 2 or 3 times a day, there is no problem if any one listening same songs whole day, because its Xmas, and this festival comes only onetime in a year, so let people do something diffrent that they never do before!
