Do you sun bake or like to get a tan?

I mean how much time do you spend in the sun trying to achieve that nice color that everyone wants? Do you really care about it and do you worry about the side effects later? Or are you careful and not over do it like some people? Who spends a lot of time in the sun nowadays?

I don't spend any time in the sun without a long sleeved shirt, a hat and lots of sunblock. I am a very fair skinned redhead and I burn very easily. My grandmother had a cancerous spot removed off her back due to sun exposure and I've been *very* anal about not being out in the sun without globs of sunscreen all over me.

I am sad to hear about people getting any form of cancer especially from the sun too. There are too many cases of people getting cancer from the sun and it appears to be getting worse perhaps because of global warming or something. I don't know but we need to be more aware of the side effects of too much sun exposure because it can be quite devastating.
