Why do you comment? Why do you start threads? Would you do it if there was no dough?

So far there is no dough involved and I am still writing and enjoying myself. It will take forever to make anything here. But I still enjoy the writing that is involved.

I realise that this is an old thread, but I'd like to respond and be another mylotter to be in it for the people as well. My boyfriend originally told me about the site just over a year ago, and never even mentioned the money aspect of things, but recommended it to me because he knows how much I love to talk with other people, share thoughts and opinions, give and take advice and so on. The money is an added incentive, I suppose, but I just love the people and the content here so much that the money doesn't really matter =)

I've been talking on forums for more than ten years, and this is the first one that has paid me. *shrugs* Why do I talk on forums? A lot of reasons actually. I enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy sharing ideas. I enjoy talking about serious topics like religion, parenting, politics, social issues, life challenges, sexuality, and morality. I also enjoy talking about my hobbies like anime, manga, roleplaying games, tv shows, movies, sports, and books. I enjoy sharing my writing sometimes. So if there were no money here, I would still be here since I already have friends on this forum. If my friends left here, no doubt I'd either make new ones or move on to another forum again.
