With food being as universal as air- I was wondering, what is your favorite dish that you tend to cook? Do you happen to have a signature dish which many people enjoy? Do you think that you are a young Puck, or a master of the BBQ?

Yes i do. My husbands grandmother lived during the depression times and when she would get low on groceries she would often make this dish.this recipe has been passed down through 4 generations.when hubby and i married he gave me this famous and unique recipe..It is simply called "Grandma's Irish Stew' It is delicious, my children can eat the entire pot when i make it, people beg me to make it..I entered this stew into a contest and won $100.00, so you know it is good...It has bacon, potatoes and homemade dumplings and a few other ingredients .i make it at least 2 or 3 times a month, and not one bite goes to waste.I am not a young punk!

Signature dish: I think its a three way tie between my variant of Southwest Chili, Spaghetti and meatsauce, and my calzones (with most people gravitating toward the spaghetti). There are other dishes that rank up in my opinion, like pork tenderloin, potato pancakes, tonkatsu, miso, pork vesuvius, S and S curry, fried rices (and others).

I love to cook. The dish my oldest daughter always requests is lasagna. My son either asks for beef and noodles or goulash. My youngest daughter loves my pasta with tomato based sauce. My husbands favorite is my meatloaf. Which I am making for him tonight. If I picked my own favorite it would be my homemade macaroni and cheese.
