Looking Back Over 2007

Would you say your year was Good or Bad? What are some things you wish you could change, or has it been a pretty good year for you?
For me, 2007 was quite an interesting year, and I actually learned a lot, and over all, even with its many downfalls, I would still have to say 2007 for me was a Good year.
I know one Good thing is I have been Employed with the same Company for a yr. and a half now. There are days it has its ups and downs, but being there has helped to show me a lot of things, and even in the Bad, I still enjoy my job, and know I am liked by most of the people there as well.
Another good thing is over all my health was pretty good this yr. as well. I did get 2 Colds that were not that Fun, but I was able to get over them with little issue and been able to work thru them, etc. which is Great. Also got some major health concerns due to being Diabetic worked out with my Insurance thru work to where I pay only a minimal copay as well which is good. Even when I had to switch Insulins it was still an easy feat.
My husband and I got to go to New Jersey and New York City in September, and I got to meet a close Email friend and her husband I have known online now for over 10 yrs. We had an awesome time, and I can now say I have seen a different part of the USA and was quite impressed. This was actually one of the best trips my husband and I have ever taken, and we are really wanting to get back to NYC sometime and visit there again.
The only thing that happened this yr, that I would say was not the Best, was that my Mom died. She died in September about 10 days after we got back from New Jersey and NYC so we had to go to Montana for her funeral. This was sort of unexpected in a lot of ways, but at the same time, it was expected as I knew she was not feeling the Best and something had told me as a gut feeling she was going to die this yr. and I just had been Praying that it would be after we got back from the East Coast, and it was. The holidays were a little rough for me, but I got thru them. (Her birthday would have also been the 27th, but I just knew there was nothing I could do to bring her back, so it is just time to move on.)
So see to me, I will mark 2007 as a Good yr. in my Book, and looking forward to what God brings for me in 2008. I know it will be one filled with surprizes, and many Good things as well.

My 2007 year was not so good and not so bad.It was just ok.In january 2007 i was very tense as my exams were going to start by the next month.During Ferbuary 2007 my exams came.In that month my exams started and it carried on till next month.During mid of march my exams were finished and i was relaxed.Next 3 months i was tension free but on July my result came and I havnt done well in the exams.Then i started working more hard and till now i m working harder and harder and my exams are in january 2008.

Well, sometimes when we have not done the best, we need things like this to motivate and push us to be what we are really wanting to be in life. I know for me, even though it may not seem like it at first, this has helped me to be who I am today. Wishing you Great results.

i think 2007 for me is good year even i have little health problem about my scoliosis but its ok its not that severe and about my family and love life i dont have such problem except lonely because i was far from them when it comes to financially i have good year for that i hope god still give me more opportunity and blessings to come every year i thanks god for all the blessing i received these year and all my past year. i hope you also have more blessings to come and happiness this coming 2008:-)

Thanks for the well wishes, and I feel when it comes to Health all we can do is Thank God for what we have, and know he is in control. We cannot always do what we want, but everyday we live is a Blessing even when it brings downships and heartaches.

Yes year 2007 was quite impressive and good too. Not much of damage was experienced during the entire year. Generallys peaking, the country was peaceful, economy was just gearing up to become vibrant and stock prices remained slightly volatile towards higher side, and job market was quite attractive and accommodative.
Personally, I was able to move to my parental house which was vacant thereby I could save substantial money which would have gone otherwise towards rent. I hope by one more year, I should be keeping a strong step forward.

2007 was a year of change for me. I finally found the strength to end a 7 year relationship that was unhealthy. I had to put a renter in my townhouse because I can't afford it alone, and I moved back in with my parents. But this though rough was good change.
2008 is going to be a big change as well. I graduate in May and will be moving to Arizona to go to Arizona State.

Looking back at 2007. At the start of 2007 I won on a TV program here bringing home 100 thousand pesos. The money went for the payment of our estate taxes. 2007 was not bad at all for me except for my health condition. I am praying that I could have more years to enjoy here on earth.

Well 2007 was better then 2006, I am hoping that 2008 is even better then 2007. I have had a few tough years and I am ready for some better times to come my way. We are going to start out the year good, my son and daughter in law are expecting a baby girl soon. That will brighten the New Year. Since they live with me, I get to see the baby all the time. I am also hoping that after the baby comes some of the mood swings will stop, hehe. Its been sometimes tough to live with a moody pregnant women, specially when they are not your daughter. If she was mine I could tell her to stop being such a bitc.. I have been good, I do my best to keep my mouth shut. My poor son has enough to put up with. I don't want to cause him more grief. I got to go out to Cal. with my mom in Sept. We went to visit her brother. I got to go to President Reagans library on Sept, 11. I toured the Air Force One plane and had my picture taken boarding the plane and waving like the president and first lady do. The pic is stamped with the date. My mom had heart surgery after we got back, she had some problems but that has since resolved itself. There have been ups and downs in 2007 but overall not a bad year. Another good thing with this year is, I have been here a little over a year now, I have met some terrific people. I am so glad to have found mylot, and met so many terrific people and made friends with lots of you. There are so many people here that truly care about you. We have become friends with each other. Its also nice that with the thousands of people here on mylot, I have found that a good number of us have the same friends. Take care and My Wish for you is to have a Joyous New Year.

I can honestly say that my 2007 was better than my 2006 in a lot of ways. Although I haven't had great jobs, I've worked most of the year. I've been healthy, we love our new house, and we had a great trip to Oregon and northern California for a week at Thanksgiving time.
On the down side, we've become estranged from our daughter and haven't seen our grandkids since February. Plus, my COBRA ran out on my health insurance, so I'm currently uninsured.
All we can do is pray that some of our problems find resolution during 2008.

This has been a good year for me, with ups and downs as well. I have been at my second job close to a year, and most of the time I enjoy it. I am beginning to manage my life a little better, and I do not have any major health problems to deal with. No losses this year as far as family goes, but I will tell you friend, that at the oddest times you will miss your mom. I am sorry for your loss. I am glad that you can still call this a good year.

For me, 2007 was a mixed year. We had some quite good holidays. My daughter did very well in year 9 at school & won two trophies in swimming. We had are roof painted.
My front garden improved.
Thats all I can think of that was particularly good this year.
On the downside, there was a lot more trouble with my hubbys ex. This made my two step children far more difficult to deal.They did something very bad. Our financial situation became worse, partly due to the issues with my step children.My husbands temper deteriorated, also due to the latter situations.

2005 not very good, 2006 worse, 2007 way better compared to the first so I can honestly say that it was.
I am hoping that 08, will be a much better year for me. I also hope that things don't go against me, allowing me to pick up for 2007 and focus on the goals that my wife and I want to furfil.

I'm normally a positive person and try to see the good in everything but afraid for me 2007 will go down in my book as one of the not so good years in my life. I'm not going to go into details because I don't want to bring others down and do know it could have been much worse.
On a positive note - I'm praying 2008 will be better than the last year.
