Some people are in bed fast asleep by midnight on New Years Eve. Some of them wake up feeling like there as been no change. Do you think it is important to celebrate the transition of the old and new year?

I have no idea. I have to think of my New Years resolutions first, but it might be that I will still be awake. However, I do doze off around 10 to 10:30 so it might be that I will be asleep by then. I do not think it is important to stay awake but it would be nice to see the fireworks, and to hear how each part of the country greeted the New Year. I do have to get up early, just in case I do not attend the New Years's service, then I will be attending the New Years Day service and I do not want to nap because we are having company.
