I know this is a dreaded question among many. And most of the time we dont keep them. This year mine is to lose weight and get in shape for my wedding. My husband and I are already married, but went through the justice of the piece early for personal reasons. Most people dont know and we are still planning on having the ceremony to make it official. And to be honest I have probably put on 15 pounds during this holiday season and I refuse to not be the beautiful bride walking down the aisle. So I plan to drop a lot of weight and tone up. The great thing is I have a friend close that is also making the same resolution, but for different reason. She and I have known each other forever so we can yell at one another if we get off track. Plus she has converted her basement into a workout room for us. I love it and it will be great to have that kind of support...Now if my husband would stop trying to hinder my diet I will be okay..lol! What about you? What are your resolutions for the New Year?

Good luck I am sure you will be gorgeous during your wedding. We just got married on 7/7/07. It is such an amazing experience. My resolution this year is to keep up with my chores better and show more patience with my hubby. Lets see how long it lasts.

Thank you. New years resolutions are usually out of the picture by the end of January anyway. Mid February for those that are dedicated. It is always nice to try might as well start somewhere. As far as the patience thing I have been working on it over time and do believe I am getting a little better.

I've given up on making new years resolutions since I know that I never keep them.

I figure if I make my goal something that can be achieved then Im good...If I try to go for something there is no way I can accomplish then its no wonder I cant keep them.
