I have noticed that when someone yawn in front of you you will also do the same thing. Is this addictive, a chain that should be pass through people, or just a gesture to give a hint that you are bored?

Well, I guess its both. When we see someone yawn, we tend to follow the act. At the same time, when we're bored, we yawn and the one who sees us, do the same. Kind of funny though...

*laughs* We yawn to gulp in more oxygen and whenever we feel short of it we kind of yawn. This is addictive, do not know the reason though. Once in "Travel and Living' I was watching a show which showed a beautiful yawn wave that among 10-15 ppl sitting side by side and yawning! It was a survey. Wish you a happy new year.

if we find people yawning we feel sleepy because yawning makes us feeling drowsy and lazy it slow down our activities
