My computer is only a few years old, but I do use dial up, so that makes it slow going on the internet some days especially when I am logged on from home. When I log on at work, I have high speed and things go a lot quicker. I know the aggravation you could be having since your pc is old and sometimes I imagine you don't even feel like putting up with the hassle.
Happy New Year!

I can understand your feeling very well. A slow computer will really drive us crazy as nowadays the software and other device costs us a bigger computer memory and space. So we have to upgrade the computer all the time. Today it seems the cost to upgrade a computer is a lot, it's better to buy a new one.

You need a new computer. You will be able to surf faster and you can have a larger hard drive, the computer will work faster, and you might as well get a new monitor as well. I doubt if the upgrades will work on a ten year old computer. Usually they last only six or so years, unless you got a very good one, that is a high end on in the first one, but we never do. We get the middle grade ones or the run of the mill ones, and they only last six to seven years, so as soon as I got this one, I started to put money away for the next.
