I finally got hold of a legal copy of this song, (Bassman, by Shadow) from the new site selling local music, trinidadtunes.com I am excited! Buying local music will no longer by a tiresome trek through malls and searching endlessly for all my favorites among the dross-hopefully!! Yeah there is some dross in there, unfortunately! I hope they will have all the new music and add a lot more of the old favourites soon. Finally a reason to keep my paypal account!

Way cool. I'll have to check out the site to see if there are any of my favorites on there. My Mother used to have some records that I can't find anywhere now. They were passed down from my Grandfather and she got rid of them.

Awww, it's too bad your mother got rid of them. I hope you find your favorites. It would have been nice to have the records, even if not to play them, but to look at their covers and read the "liner notes" about the artists.
