You know I have been looking at some photographjs of me when I was graduating from Bible School. People believe me I was so skinny it was not funny. I was 5ft 6inches and weighed 112 pounds. My 9 year old laughed until she was blue inthe face (i thought she would die from laughing at those photos). Of course I laughed with her too and took them down from where she had placed them - for everyone to see! Well a friend of mine visited me and she had a good laugh at them and so I did too. I looked funny with all those bones sticking out. I would show you guys but trust me I aint showing those to anybody else. I still keep them though to motivate me not to get back to that stage but not to be too fat either - a balance is fine with me. DO you have nay funny pcitures like those?

Hi Sharon! I don't think I would catagorize my old pictures as 'funny'. Well, when I look into my pictures I can see howmuch I have changed. I have become fatter and there is no longer that 'innocense' in my looks.I guess I have become 'uglier' too. I wish I could become the same old me. But since it is not possible i guess i should be contented with what I am today.

Hi Sharon! Thanks for the compliment. Infact I do know that no one would call me ugly... but can't i wish for more, lol. All the pictures you have seen of me are recent and not more than 6 months old. You are a lovely person too and i cherish your friendship and look forward to see you in person someday.

Ann trust me, to me you are so lovely both inside and out. I have gained weight too and maturity and also lost the innocent look too but if you really want to go back to the old you it may be possible for you. A built like mine would not be looking good at 112 pounds again. You are a lovely person - pictures dont lie unless they have been enhanced - so you have matured and grown and thats you.

Hi Sharon, You are exactly like me. In my adolescence and youth I was the same around 56/57 kgs and my height is 5’6” too. But I don’t find those pixes of mine funny, I find them beautiful and sexy. I had a wonderful figure... tall & graceful. I lost it all in the bliss of motherhood. Now at 35, I am a ‘healthy’ matron with a lot of fat around the hips and I know it would take a lot, lot, lot of rigorous exercise to get it off. I sometimes hate what I see in the mirror but then its OK, part of life. Sometime I think why do we women have to lose so much to gain anything in life! With my hectic schedule of motherhood, family &office, I know I would literally collapse if I did those strenuous exercises so I have to live now with what I am. So those pixes of mine are really my treasures from the past.

Yes I have some photos when I was about 11. Had braids, freckles, braces and glasses. What a sight..lol I was so skinny that I had to run around the shower to get wet. I mean pitiful. Am still thin but not like I hadn't eaten in 5 years! Our kids have seen mine but not for a long time. Will eventually give the odd photos to them as a remembrance.

Me, Looking Goofy - This is a picture taken at church when I was a kid. I am front and center. The one with the goofy smile.
Oh come on, I was looking forward to seeing the picture. To be honest, I can not stand pictures like that. My sister had some school pictures of me and her children were looking at them and laughing so hard that I tore them up and through them away. I will admit that I looked very goofy in those pictures and I never wanted any one to see them again. I made sure to get the 8x10, 5x7, and the wallet size ones. If I ever see that picture again, I will screen.

Oh Rozie I dont know if I can find the courage to place them here because if my friends and my daughter could laugh so much at seeing me in those years, I could not take it here. Trust me on that. I think those pictures are really cute. No need to be ashamed of those.

I get such a kick out of pics of me as a teenager. Especially around 12-13...I was all boobs. Tiny waist, modest butt and 38DD boobs. I always looked like I was gonna fall over at any second. Thankfully, the rest of me filled out more so I looked more proportionate. Now that I'm older it all sort of blends together LOL **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I am happy for you but have anyone of your friends seen any pictures of you at that age? How did they react to it? I found my pictures to be really terrible.

Hello dear sharon. I was looking forward to seeing the picture of yours twenty years ago, but failed to see it. Did you fail to upload it? I also had the same case happen to my discussions. Well, it is the same me. When I was young, I was so skinny and was always trying to gain more weight and complaining about my weight. But now I am happy that I have reached my ideal weight. I am now sixty-eight kilograms and it is still ok for me to reach seventy kilograms because I look better with a little bit more weight. Thanks, sharon.

YEah I had a bit of a problem with the scanner but I beleive I will try again with it. I am glad to know that you have indeed gained your ideal weight and feel comfortable with it. I am much more comfortable with where I am now than those times. I was teased mercilessly by my brothers but it was done in love.

I don't think of my old pictures as "funny". I just see how much I've changed and how having a baby makes your hips wider and you heavier LOL. No, really I was only 110 or 115 before I got pregnant with my son that is now 19 months old. I couldn't gain weight if I wanted to but now that I've had a baby I have to watch what I eat. I want to lose a few more pounds but not a whole lot more because I'm not fat but I just want to get to where I like myself if you know what I mean.

Most of my funny pics are of me waddling around big and pregnant. I put on almost 60 lbs while pregnant. My daughter now 4 1/2 looks at them and says "Mommy you sure were BIG". I just laugh and tell here I had to make room for her.

Hi Sharon, I personally don't have any super embarrassing photo's but I'm a bit self conscious so I do cringe a bit looking at older pictures of myself. There isn't anything specific about them that so terrible, I'm just really self conscious.

All you have to do is learn to be comfortable with who you are. In my country I would be classed as an ugly girl btt even in high school when the provoked me I took it as a joke. After all I have no control over my physical features unless I am going to do palstic surgery which I think is waste of money. I am comfortable with how I look. I ensure that my hair is nicely combed, my clothes fit well and I am good to go. Still even with tis "ugly' look men always seem to find me "desirable". So ecen so I am still abel to draw guys attention just let your ocnfidence in yourslef grown and be comfortable with who you are. If you cant then chances are you will never feel comfortable aroudn anyone. It doesnt matter what others say or thing about its what you think abo tyourself really counts. Chin up. You have it all going for you!
