Hi,That was is my school days may be I am lazy to go through all those books. But when I was in my initial classes I was good in my studies after I passed 5th that was a mere mess with studies nothing when in my head. I was too back in maths and I even hated sanskrit. There goes my school days and some how I passed my 10th and then to college. Lastly I took a breath of relaxation after I completed my school days with lots of punishments and extra class for out of class. Later I liked to read. But later when I talked to my friend on this he just pointed that there are lots of problems in study related which can be rectified with proper counsellings or with a proper child study expert. Hope the studies may not be a burden to students any more.

i think that every students deal differently with their studies. and then, some people may really not be good at studying but in dealing with real life circumstances, they are better. some find it hard to study theories and proving them but in application, they are better. some would be good at memorizing every lines and get perfect scores at exams, but in application, they sucks. i think it doesn't really matter what we achieved back in school because its totally different once you're in the outside world, in the real world. ^__^ anyway, to answer your discussion, i did averagely in school. some would say i was good in school. but i think i was just good at studying. ^__^ school taught me that everything can be learned just as long as you have the determination to learn it. i was good in memorizing and i was driven by responsibilities so i studied hard. i was thankful that i did good at school because it made my mother proud. but all the while i also knew how to have fun. ^__^ i would go out with friends, drink, party and be merry. LOL i have always believed that all work and no play would make secretbear a dull girl. LOL so i made it a point to have fun when i don't need to study or if there's no exam. ^__^

well i think you are from india and definately there can be somem improvements made in the study pattern for children.this thing created problems for one of my friends as well.however in many foreign countries people think that indian style of studies is too good and they want to do the same.since many indians are doing wonders in thier field all around the globe.but however there can be some changes done to lessen the burden for children

Yeah I was an honor student back then. But over the years I have come to realize that wisdom is more important than academic performance. It did feel good receiving all those medals though.

I was doing the "just pass by grades" routine till i was in grade 10,then i really got my butt in gear to see how good of a grade i could get, kind of like a game for me.I hit it to 95 and up out of 100,lol.Then when grade twelve came i slacked off by goijng back to the just passing grade and just before graduating i jumped back up to the 90's again.I should of stayed in my nineties grade.I wish i could go back and do it all over and prove to people how smart i was in school instead of slacking off, like it was all a game for me:(:(I was the top of the class one time, then slacked, stupid me!!!!!!But it doesnt make me a dumb person today,i still use my brain and i still amaze myself and my boyfriend, especially with inventing things and mathmatics, hahaha!!My favorite classes was history and math.I hated english class, reading boring!!! Peanutjar:)

well i must say i did ok at school but could have done a lot better, however in my experience as an employer i would much rather employ someone that had hands on experience rather than being able to do it on paper!!!

Boy, you just got my nerves... Its a real fun talking about school days. But what tickles the most is the memories of subjects that troubled us the most.Frankly speaking i was never good at Maths.and had one plain funda of life... No calculation only manipulatuion:-)Just to escape maths i opted to get in medical stream, but ended up doing engineering. Right now i am a software engineer.Thank god my school days are over and i am not doing maths any more... Forgot to metion one thing... Mom wants me to do MBA (aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!)

Hi I was always good at study. I had been a topper through out my academic career. Even was very good at math. I was at top position when my student life started and also in university, ended with a Gold Medal for standing First. It has been never a weak point for me.

I was good in my studies and had been a top student in my class. However, I wasn't THAT deligent and i think i could have achieved more if i had more discipline and more studious. I was rather more of a 'street smart' kind of student than textbook smart. I got a scholarship and managed to keep it until i graduated but i also skipped a lot of classes and i even missed 1 or 2 major exams because i wasnt able to study so i thought, there was not point in me taking it anymore since i would fail anyway in the exam. LOL!

Hello dear SHAMACK. In my school days I think that I was just a so-so student, especially as a pupil and junior high school student, but much progress was made when I was in my senior high school days that made me able to pass the national college entrance examination eventually, which was very difficult to pass as most of the candidates would not be enrolled by universities or colleges, different from now. Thanks for your discussion.

Hi! I was a deligent student in my schooling days, I love to study and very curious what were the contents per subject. I love to know, is the reason why I acquired good grades before. In my college days, the more I burned my brows in my studies because I worked while I study. Quite tiresome but I enjoyed those days.

I was pretty good in school in all classes except advanced math courses such as algebra. I never did and still don't understand geomtry, algebra or the like. Everything else was ok.

I can't really tell. Though I have good grades but I never tried to really study my lessons. I'm not studious. It just that during exams, hopefully, I can recall some of it. And take note, I do cut classes ifI don'tlike the teacher or the class is so boring.

I definitely wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. I was doing perfect during the first two quarters. After that, It got harder and harder and I found myself just letting loose not doing my homework and going out everyday with my friends. I just lost my feel for school, the teachers weren't the best and I just ended up losing my motivation.
