I emailed the website's administrator and this is the response I got from them:
"We would like to remind you that slashmysearch.com is still beta. THis basically means that we are stil working out bugs and improving our services. As such, new features will be added all the time and current features will be improved...
"Also, slashmysearch.com may be slow at times or inaccessible under extreme circumstances."
SO for those who were members of this site, I'd suggest you email their hotline for the scam and payments issues. THank you. Thank you.

I got the same email from slashmysearch.com but I have never emailed them anything before so this is pretty much an automatically generated email that you will receive from time to time.
I have concerns about this site and wish to find out whether its really a scam or not.They never reply my emails and the forum on their site is also unmoderated for last few months.

You have a good point there, brother... I can also relate to your experience. I emailed them more than trice already, but there's not a single email that explicitly answers to my question. It's like beating around the bush. I further asked about scamming, but their answer is on spamming. Although, the two words are almost similar in spelling, but they should be keen enough to identify the differences.

I've joined SlashMySearch.com long long ago ( I forgot the date) but finally I give up they have lots of troubles on their site and too many times I have trouble logging in. So I give up. Forget this site and their names, and don't waste any more time on them. As they said, they are still in beta. There's nothing come out even the whole world complaint on them. Forget them will make you feel better. Let's look forward for a better program. Cheers!

Thank you for sharing your experience with that website, it will surely help and warn members and people who think of joining that site. Time is indeed very precious, so it is such a big waste of opportunity to use it on futile things.

I've never heard of the site to begin with, but if it's in BETA then I'd literally stay away from it, if it's a money making site which I hope, if it's not then it's under the wrong section, anyway, if it is a money making site I would hope people would be smart enough to wait for it to get out of BETA before at least trying it, although it seems that it's a Scam site so I'd personally advise to stay away from it, I feel that one of the many things to always look for is at what stage it is in Development Wise as it might not be totally complete yet and I would most probably advise people to stick to sites which are out of development and can be accessed 24/7 if it's not going under scheduled maintenance, although I'm probably just rambling on here with things you probably might already be aware of but it might be a good thing to say to those who are slightly newer to these sort of sites.

Since there are people who are not so into the "techy" terms or jargons of computers, it would be great if ou could give a few input on the pros and cons of beta. Furthermore, what would you recommend, since, assessing your comment, you sure know about computers and other stuff related to it.
Your answers would be very helpful to the readers.
