I've been up all night again -- crocheting. If anybody reading this is a crocheter, maybe you've tried tapestry crochet. It's fun, and very time consuming. I've been working on creating a pink rose on white background. I don't know what it's going to be as a finished product yet since I made a boo-boo in my stitch count and it's not balanvced evenly. i like the saying "fake it 'til ya make it" so maybe I'll weave in a ribbon to the side that has more white background. I'm tired now, but had to come here before going for another "sleepette" (nap).

Thank you for your response, asawanalvin. It's the creativity I love and to even make money with it makes it the ideal vocation for me -- it's not real work, it's doing what I like.

Thanks for your response, kabes. I see by your posts that you must be pretty new to mylot, and I'm glad you're here. We have crochet in common. Besides, you live in Australia and I'd like to visit Australia someday.

Ah the craft goblins have got you... I know the feeling. There have been times I've crochet or knit until my hands hurt and then some. You can watch TV, listen to music, and time just seems to fly by. Needlefelting is a little like that except you need to keep your eyes on what you're doing unless you like accidentally jabbing your hand instead of the project and remembered to get your tetanus shots. *laughs* Time can fly by with that too. It is nice seeing and feeling something form up in your hands.
