Other than the internet. LOL It's tanning. I love to tan. I know it is bad for me. And I am very light skinned with freckles. Natural blonde. So it is probably worse for me than others. I can't help it though. It is so relaxing. I quit for awhile after I gave birth to my daughter over 4 years ago. Well, I didn't tan while I was pregnant either. But it is almost the only me time I get. It helps my back feel better also. Who else out there tans?

Well obviously not me. But I thought tanning was bad and caused skin cancer especially for lighter skin people. My husband is a very light skinned Italian and he says the reason he doesnt tan a lot is because you get radiation poisoning on your skin which causes skin cancer and deteriorate quickly. Just wondering if that is a fear of yours

Nope, not afraid of anything really. I know the risks but I do it anyway. I haven't tanned all week this week though. i can't stand for my tan to start to fade so it is driving me insane.

I agree that the heat and the sun makes my back feel better too. I guess it won't do any good to give you "the lecture" because you already said you know it's not good for you! Do you go to a tanning booth or are you talking about laying in the sun in the summer time? I've heard the tanning booths/beds are even worse than the natural sun but I also know some people will say the opposite is true, so I'm not sure. I love the sun, too, and I love going to the pool in the summer but I always use sunscreen on my face and lots of moisturizer all over when I come indoors. Be careful; it not only causes wrinkles but the danger of skin cancer is very real and increasing all the time. Annie

I use a tanning bed. I know and I am actually very fair skinned naturally so skin cancer is a very real threat. I know that yet I can't stop. It's an addiction really. It realeases something into your body that makes you feel good. I know a girl who tanned at 2 different salons all the time. Now that's crazy.

Im not a tanner..but i can see why you want to be tanned...it looks healthy and lovley...the only thing is that you have to be careful with your skin...i think they keep warning everyone about it all!! But surely you could use a fake tan lotion..or are you like me...it goes streaky...and just looks a mess!!..theres anart to applying it...i think the secret is in the moisturising bit beforehand!!
