11 fishing boat crews were stranded since October 2007 and now finally rescued. They took shelter in an abandon military base while waiting to be rescued. "The eight men and three women took refuge at the base after their small boats collided on Oct. 10 off the southeastern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula, regional Emergency Situations Ministry spokeswoman Olga Mikhailova was quoted as saying by the RIA-Novosti news agency." Sounds like a Hollywood movie script to me. LOL. It is good that they now could go home to their families. Full story: http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/01/05/russia.fishermen/index.html
