He said, "ei Ray, I'm handsome, ayt?!" **Then, he showed his big grin.** I said, "And... I rolled my eyes." (Then, I went in front of him and showed him that I'm really rolling my eyes.) jahaha! And since I'm always mentioning this line, Mama already borrowed it! toinks! :p ============= "Behind every man is a woman rolling her eyes." - Jim Carey My brother showed to me this quote for this day (I'm not sure if it's for Jan 5 or Jan 6). He showed it at almost midnight. And it's errrr...almost 2am now. (just finished his powerpoint! 153 slides! Yahoooooo! ) It was star struck! Because whenever he said some of those bragging-see-how-handsome-I-am-look to me... I always reply, "Looook... Then I rolled my eyes." *hehe* When he showed me the quote, I gave him a hug and kissed him. He hugged back and smiled. We understood the message behind those healing touch. As much as he always say that I am the wind beneath his wings, he is to me, too. Love ya, bro! *wink-wink* **** Til now..we're wondering how or why Jim Carey had said that. "Behind every man is a woman rolling her eyes."

I agree with what someone else said that Carey was poking fun at the old saying "Behind every good man there is a good woman" or something like that.

well, i am a woman who rolls her eyes behind her man. i am a living example of that quote of jim carey's. hah-hah!! there are several reasons why. at times, my man would be so proud of something he's done and i would be on the side, grinning, because i was the one who made him do it in the first place, only because i knew he could do it. there are instances when he makes a fool out of himself and i would be easing him out of a situation. he's thankful of course, but won't admit his fault in it. yes, he always says he's handsome. and yes, i do roll my eyes... several times... even make puking sounds. but later on, alright, i do affirm that he is. guess that's what women who love their man are like. ;)

this was interesting. thank you so much for sharing it. I'm a little confused if there was a point to it, but I did enjoy reading the quote from jim Carey. I definately agree with that, though it would make my husband roll his eyes.

It is a humorous paraphrase relating to the old saying that a woman was the power behind the throne.
