So, do you enjoy saying, "I told you so" or do you like to think it but not say it? Why or why not?

I would rather not use this phrase. While you may be right several times, you will not always be correct. This is just the ego trying to one up everyone so it can maintain its importance. The person who says nothing, is the person who is completely in control of who they are. The person who is thinking or saying "I Told You So" needs to feel secure with the idea that they actually know something. I have used it, but over the years less and less. I don't have to feel smarter than anyone else.

I *never* say I told you so! I hate it when somebody says that to me, and I decided long, long time ago that those words would never come out of my mouth. When somebody says I told you so, they always come off as sanctimonious, and I think it says something negative about the person who is uttering those words. I think you know what I mean, it's like verbally rubbing their noses in it. I think it's one thing to think that phrase in the flash of a moment, but it shows character NOT to say it.

I like to think it, rather than say it, because if I say it to someone, then the next time I am wrong it is their privelege to really rub it in. I keep my words as sweet as possible.

I love saying "I told you so" but don't always do it as there are some people (bosses etc.) where it would not be very wise to do so. I have been told that I do get a smug look on my face that says it without words! LOL

Not as such. When someone being very annoying it sometimes feels nice to go "I told you so" but I haven't for a long time and I'd rather not be seen as childish. I would love to do it sometimes but self control is something I try and pride myself on. I don't think it's wrong for others though, just myself as I'd rather not rub my nose into other peoples faces. ~Joey

I love to say "I told you so." You know why, because I fight very hard on my position and then when they go against me. I love to let them remeber who was right. I especially like it when they have to come to me to fix it.
