Unseasonably warm... and damp too

I stepped outside a bit before my last discussions and responses. It was damp and rather warm. I'm not complaining about it, I actually like it. Even on some cloudy nights, I like sitting outside and enjoying some decent weather. Part of me was thinking about life, work, family, friends... so many things with all of those. Plus I had a nice bottle of coke to enjoy with the weather. Even without the stars, I was still very content. Its supposed to stay this way throughout the week too. Even though the scientist aspect of my thinking has its lingering concerns, the rest of me enjoys the warm weather and enjoying the outdoors with that. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods right now? Seasonable? Temporarily "weird"? Warm? Hot? Well no matter what it is, keep it safe and I hope you take at least a little time to enjoy the weather & environment (no matter how blitz cold or blaze hot it might be)

Hello dear programer. I can understand the weather there in your area, as the weather in my place is also warm these days after the cold air from siberia is gone. We are now enjoying very nice weather with the temperature around 12 degrees centigrade. I love the weather, not so too cold. Each time when we are warned of the siberia cold air on the way to us, we will later have very cold weather. Thanks for your discussion, dear programer. Have a sleep with a sweet dream.

Here in Ohio we are experiencing a slight heat wave, well no let me be more serious ! Okay, just 49 hours ago it was 9 degrees and there was no way my window was going to be open in the computer room while I myLot and drag off an ocassional cig . . . but tonight well it is nearing 54 and I can feel it getting warmer. Kinda scary actually rather than just unseasonably how about unusually warm cause this is more like meltdown than freeze-up. Did we skip right into Spring and how good is this for our atmosphere and such ? sharing the light and happy new year, Miss Erica Hidvegi, the Enlightenment_Advisor, B.A. Psych/M.A. Transpersonal Studies- Cnslng/Author, Artist, Photographer, Entrepreneur & Freelance extraordinaire

Well the weather right now feels a spring day here in NJ. Its around 60 degrees. I have my windows open and Im airing out the stinky house.hehehe So I think its really weird for January weather. I know its only temporarily but I like it. But its also scarey. If you know what I mean?

It's January...and forty degrees here in Minnesota which is very hot compared to normal temps. The snow on the ground is almost gone after two days of warm weather. I love winter and hate to see the snow go. We are supposed to get rain today. I MISS MY WINTER!

Here in Chicago, yesterday and today- it feels like summer. Unreal we go from downright cold to it's so nice you can wear shorts outside, at least if you are used to the cold weather. I love it- spring is on the way? Maybe?

We have more precipitation than usual, I think, and it is the frozen kind. More than we have had in the last ten years. Yesterday and today were warm and damp, but the last I heard we are having more snow or at least rain, tonight and tomorrow. I think weather is always weird. Just when you get used to one pattern, here comes another one.

In Georgia we seem to be experiencing weird weather going from one extreme to another. We had very cold mornings of 22F for the lows and upper 40 highs for about 3 days and now it is presently 48/50 low and 75 high expected. I am really enjoying a break from our hot, very humid days.

It is like that today here too, and it was yesterday, its really warm and raining and foggy. I dont mind that all the snow is melting but hubby may start to cry that his snow fort is melting away to nothing. He likes to build them every winter and this year we had had a lot of snow, but it only took a day and a half for the grass to show through it! It is suppsed to be warm all week, and i dont mind :) poor hubby though. he has done a lot of shoveling lol.

I'm loving it! It was soooo cold here a few days ago, that biting, bone-chilling kind of cold that goes right through you and makes it impossible to warm up from so this is a real gift right now. Plus, it's a real help in saving on heating costs. In some ways I must admit I'm all for global warming - at least in my little part of the globe. Annie

This morning it was so hot in here like it's summer but in the afternoon it's already dark and we had little rain. I hope it would rain tonight so that we'll have a little cold weather here :)

It's winter over here in Canada so we got snow. Manitoba is one of the roughest provinces to be in through the winter as we drop to temps of -40 and lower. With added Windchill factors we can drop down to temps of -50 etc. So to walk out today it was actually quite nice out -3 was the high today which wasn't too bad at all. Mind you we got rain last night and now it's frozen. Tons of car accidents today to say the least as my brother drove on the highway and passed several cars and trucks in the ditch.

Weather can be enjoyed or bemoaned no matter her inconsistencies or vagaries. It has been hot here but we have also had some rain recently. This time last year there was no rain...literally - and we were amidst a crippling, murderous drought. Things have changed. In this little country village the word is that there hasn't been this much grass for a couple of decades. We have heat now....not as much here as in the south east corner of the country....they are experiencing Fire. Conversely, it's calm here but their is Heat. My days are spent indoors relishing my ducted cooling. This year, for the first time in my life, I am succumbing to the comfort available....well, somewhat. The fan is not on full and I haven't chosen the cool setting, just the fan setting. I'm only using energy, not water as well. I'm feeling comfortable and superior knowing how hot it is outside and I have allowed myself to feel noble too. I am sipping/gulping red Lambrusco which accompanied a meal of lambchops and salad. Life is good. Blessed be.

We are having unseasonable warmth too in the midwest. Here in Cincinnati, we had a high of like 68F today. It feels good, but unseasonable warm really has me off. I guess its just the religion in me talking, but it makes me think of Revelations in the bible, where it speaks of the end of days. I don't have the verse right now, but it says something to the effect of "We won't be able to tell the change of the seasons" It's a little unnerving to come across signs that the Book of Revelations speaks of, but then again, the world is coming to an end anyway. I am not scared of Armegeddon, because I can't do anything to change it. This kind of weather makes me think a lot about it though.

I had forgotten about that (it happens) But even 6 months later I think one could still say the seasons are rather odd nowadays. I've also been noticing other abnormalities in nature (tree deaths). It might just be nature itself, but the concern is still in the back of my mind.

My husband forgot his hat when he came home for lunch and being military, he had to have it. So he came back for it and called me from the car to bring it out to him so our daughter didn't see him. She always wants to go "bye bye" with him when he has to go back to work. He feels so guilty when he leaves. Anyway, I walked outside and was completely shocked as to how WARM it is outside! It is beautiful out there today. I hope it keeps up for awhile longer. Ever since we moved to New Jersey, I swear it is nothing but overcast, cold or rainy here. Yuck.

I live in Missouri and we are having very unseasonable weather. It's suppose to be winter but it's 69 degrees today. I like this weather though so I'm not complaining. My significant other can't stand this weather, he wants all of the cold weather and snow. I don't know why the weather has been so weird lately. It's damp also....not really raining but you can tell it's in the air. I could live with this weather year round. Great discussion. Have a great day.
