So what do you think of Chuck Norris openly supporting Huckabee? and Oprah for Obama? Do they go out and find people who's names are compatible and rhyme-y like that? Does it help or hurt? Does star power help you decide?

I'm all for everyone has a right of speech and all, but I think that so many people will only vote for a candidate if their favorite celebrity is backing them. I mean, things are so complicated these days in campaigning, no one really makes commitments other than to make a commitment to make a commitment, and ballots are complicated to deal with, that many just dont' bother to take the time to weed it all out to decide for themselves and just say "oh Oprah is backing him and Oprah is the best, so I am voting for him too!" And the other thing is, just cause Oprah (or any other celeb) likes a candidate for what he says he will do, it might not always cover all of the rest of us common folk. It might be good for Oprah, but then she is the wealthiest woman in the country, what is good for her, is often not good for us normal wage earners. But that is never brought into the conversatioN!

I agree! The uber-rich have absolutly no clue what 90% of America is going through - and yet they have no problem jumping on a band-wagon.

As you know: Chuck Norris's tears cure cancer, except he has never cried. There are a billion Chuck Norris quips...I love them.

I just love Chuck Norris. But I also respect him and his opinion. He has true star quality, he is a people person. Don't you LOVE the Mountain Dew (C) commercial!!! It's a gas!
