Ebay scam emails,They come thru about items sold, somene demanding money back and threatening you Threatening to put you in to paypal, ebay even the police,The thing is the item number does exist, the person is someone you've never dealt with. These emails do not show up in your messages on Ebay. The last one I got had am item tittle which was just "jibberish".I get tied of reporting them to Ebay, just to get an automated reply that it's a scam. Has this ever happened to you.

I have never had any sent to my inbox on ebay but have had them in my aol email often. I always just send them to spoof@ebay addy. I have also gotten some from paypal, I send those to spoof@paypal and get the automated reply also. Some of them look so real it is scary.

I forgot to mention that after I get the automated reply later I then get one that does inform me that it is a fake and to delete it.

I am lucky that I have never had ones like that but then I don't bother with e-bay much anymore. Last thing I bought well was last march and when I tried to get a special item for Christmas for my son in October I waited around for it and it never came and had to get my money back. E-bay just sucks for me now and I won't shop there anymore.

In the past 24 hours I've not only had my account hacked over at Ebay but I've received at least 6 emails regarding "question about your item..." and "answer to your question about item...." I knew right away they were scams since I'm not selling anything at the moment and I've not inquired about any items either....Ebay was right on it it though and deactivated my account...Through Hotmail I'm automatically reporting them as phishing scams too..

I get spam that appears to be from eBay about items listed there, but since I know I don't have any items listed there, I delete the messages without reading them. I'm sure they have no connection whatsoever with eBay or with anything I've ever bought or listed on eBay. I also get spam that appears to be from banks that I never had accounts with. I just delete them without reading them. I don't think there is any point in reporting them to anyone. That sort of spam is so widespread nobody really needs me to point it out. Nobody is going to do anything about it anyhow. That sort of spam has been going on for years, and so it seems quite obvious that reporting it in the past has served no purpose.

I fortunately have never had a problem with eBay, but then again I do not buy off eBay. I sell things, but I don't buy. I would know right away if someone was trying to scam me saying I owed them for an item. All the scamers out there are starting to get ridiculous.

i won't sell or buy anything from e-bay anymore. i was talking to the police about a particular incident on e-bay once and they just said to me there is nothing you can do about it.they said that e-bay was a time bomb waiting to go off and that there is so much fraudelent activities on there ,and e-bay will not protect the buyers against fraudelent sellers etc.the one thing i can not stand is the automated e-mails you recieve from e-bay and in the end when they get back to you they have protected themselves nicely from actually giving you a decent answer, you can never get through to anyone,so you just give up.cheers sue
