Have you ever swallowed your chewing gum?

There has been lots of instances where I've swallowed my chewing gum during my childhood. When I was 4 or 5 years ols then I guess I've swallowed all my chewing gums after chewing them nicely. While swallowing that sticky thing I knew I was doing something wrong but I found no harm in doing so at that time. But I have never swallowed a single bubblegum since the time I've grown up. I laugh over myself when I recollect such things. Have you also swallowed your chewing gum?

Plenty of times when I was younger. Usually in Math class which was right after lunch. Our teacher was a stickler for no gum, so it was sometimes better to swallow it than to get into trouble with her, lol.

Oh yeah, many times, I heard it sits in your stomach for years. But I don't think that is true or we would have heard something about it.

Yep - of course I have.... when I was a kid that is.. there are myths about swolling gum that it takes years to digest or whatever but they are all myths - it is just like swollowing any other food... although I wouldnt do it lots :)

I did swallow a chewing gum when I was younger.not just once,but a lot of times.my mom used to scare me by saying that the gum will stick in my stomach and I have to undergo operation to remove it.I kept it in my mind,but there are still several occasions I swallowed it.I just don't know what happened to those chewing gums I swallowed.
