I don't understand why India should quit the series. The whole issue has been blown out of proportion, to say the least. True, there are some bad umpiring decisions. But, is this the first time we see this? Have other nations not been affected by bad decisions? The Indians should have expressed their disappointment at the umpiring decisions after the match. But, ICC has set a wrong example by removing Steve Bucknor from the next match. Why the humiliation is only on Bucknor? Mark Benson was equally incompetent in the match. But, he was not questioned. Why? There is no doubt how the Indians used to play in the final innings. Even leaving out the two bad decisions, what happened to the other 8 dismissals? Jaffar has no clue, Yuvaraj is sleeping, ... Dhoni tried his luck too much by not offering shots to many deliveries. The last two batsmen seemed as if they do not know how to carry a bat. If Australians behaviour is to be complained, how about Ishant Sharma who came with two right gloves? Don't mistake me. I am an Indian. But, I feel the Indians are too disappointed with the close loss. The Australians are aggressive and goes all out for the kill. But, let us get the spotlight back on cricket. If all this can bring some fire in the Indians to put up some special performances, that would be great.

I think with the removal of Bucknor and the review of Bhajji's case, India would continue to play the series. I think it would have been an innovative idea to have sent a B or C team to Australia to play the remaining two matches with a strong message that if you are so desperate to win, play against that team!! It would have been an ideal slap both on CA and ICC as there could be no charges leveled against BCCI as the team has played!! Cheers! Ram

Hello folks, it is just a game remember. Yes, there could be a lot of money at stake, depending on what happens. I saw on the television, people burning photos and effigies. Cricket is a game of gentlemen and ladies. That behaviour was terrible. India should show that they are better than that and kick some backside.

I think right now they should nto quit the series completely. One of the reason is that Indian Cricket team has to pay around 2.3 millions rupees, which will be gone to Australian Cricket. It would look like a bonus with no play and easy money for Australian players. I think ICC should take more legal actions especially against umpires and Australian players especially they made lots of decisions against India. I think Ricky Pointing should be sacked from captancy. I think Adam Gilchrist is a very good player as well as a very good person. He should be made captain of Australia for the rest of the series.
