Hehehe! You're never too old for Legos!!! I have heard stories of some of the most brilliant engineers using Legos to build models! I wouldn't mind being associated with that class! In fact thank you for the reminder...

ive actually been given quite a few tests in my life from schools and shrinks etc to try and figure out my brain.. and lego has been included in that.. they had maybe a dozen pieces and asked you to make whatever you want/could out of them.. and then i guess they judge something about you based on that haha *shrug* they dont like to tell you their thoughts only hear yours.. but yah lego is already used in testing peoples brain activity

I guess if as long as you have a place to put it all, and your compitent enough to take care of it. Such as dusting it when it gets dusty.. *ahem* then i guess you can never get too old for toys.

Definitely NOT! Lego is in the same realm as train sets, and look how many adults have big model railway set ups? There are magazines even for adults and adult conventions too! So why not lego! I still have all my lego sets from childhood, I can't part with them, sentimental value. But I was certainly playing lego still into my teens, a lot of the lego sets available now are for adults and children! So you are never young for lego, for trains, for anything! Life is too short enjoy it and if you enjoy lego good luck to you!

LOL no you can never be too old to play with lego...or any other fun "child" type thing..I'm 37 and I still love to colour in colouring books, play on the swings and do all sorts of kid things...Nothing wrong with that! In fact I think its great that you enjoy it AND have no trouble admitting it! Too many ppl hit a certain age and FORGET what its like to be child-like which IMO is just such a shame! I'll never give up that part of me :-D

Lego creation at Walt Disney World - This is the sea creature that is in front of the Lego store at PLeasure Island, downtown Disney
No, you are not to old, playing with legos is just another form of art. It is no different then creating with paint or chalks, it is just a 3 dimensional medium. If you are having fun and staying out of trouble go for it. Have you ever been to Disney World, they have a huge lego store down there... Below is a picture I took of a Lego Nessie at Pleasure Island, downtown Disney. Don't let people bully you out of this fun hobby.

No way! I love legos! I look at those mosaic ones every time I go to the store. One day I am going to break down and buy a couple of them. I tend to buy my children lego sets as and excuse to play with them too! They love the really big sets that you can build ships and tanks and stuff with.

CanuckPrince you are never too old for anything really (or maybe some things) but in this case no you are not too old. The idea is to do something you enjoy doing and if Lego is your enjoyment then go for it! My sons' Lego is still in his room, mind you he has left home and about to turn 27, but one day maybe I will get it out and have a go. It would certainly bring back memories of the endless hours I used to spend watching and sometimes helping him put them together. Enjoy!

Oh hell no...Lego is awesome! I used to play with it all the time as a kid..building anything that I could possibly think of. Now at 26 years old, I still enjoy playing with my daughter's Lego...lol. I've heard alot of ppl snicker at me about even buying Lego for girls, but where is the sticker on the packaging saying "Buy for boys only!" I'd rather my children have a vibrant imagination instead of an unrealistic view of what girls are supposed to look like..*cough cough BARBIE*!!!

No, never! :D And I don't see anything wrong with it either! Even though I don't play with Lego's now, they are a good way for kids of any age to build and be constructive. I had a cousin that just loved Lego's as a kid. And now he is an architect.

I have a very good reason to buy Lego as I have a child:) Lego is very expensive toy, and I can't figure out why. But needless to say, it is a very creative and good quality toy.

Heck no! I'm in my 30's and I still play with legos when I get the chance, hehe. I don't think there is any such thing as being to old to play with anything. If you enjoy it, do it, that's my philosophy on that sort of thing. I still do lots of things that some people think I'm to old to do. I watch cartoons, play on swings, play dress up games with dolls (online ones, but still...), etc. No harm in doing something you enjoy, age really should not be a factor. hehehe

Personally I don't see anything wrong with playing with LEGO at your age! I mean its a fun toy! You could create whatever you want with it. I think its also goes the same with action figures (G.I. Joe, Anime character, Robots). Its a way to release your creativity and have fun! Also I think its a good outlet to forget your problems. Nobody is too old for any toy! I guess the only exception would be fischer-price toys like kiddie slides and stuff. Lol!

No way. I'm 25 now and still a big fans of lego. It's the best toys ever. Dont worry, i also get similar response from people around me. But hey, there's also a lego club that has member of around 40 years of age.

I've never liked the little lego pieces, but i love playing with duplo and thats more for kids than lego is. There are lots of adults that still enjoy building things with lego. I still want some duplo to build things with, but at the moment i don't have any. When i lived at my parents up until i was 17, i use to always play with my little brothers duplo which he didn't want anymore. I never got bored of duplo all my life and i have still wanted some since i moved out of my parents house. I will get my son some duplo when he is old enough to build with it and not throw it all on the floor and put it in his mouth. ~Joeys wife

I wouldn't think so... You have to be creative to enjoy LEGOS and you should never outgrown wanting to be creative! And if you have fun...then what ever could be wrong with that? I bet you have some cool stuff made of LEGO!!!!

I don't know why some things are considered for children and some don't. I don't see the difference of playing legos from building train stations or building models of ships. It's a hobby like another. So enjoy your lego constructions :)

My opinion is that you are never too old for anything! I play with my daughter's lego occasionally. If you enjoy something why stop doing it? My mother put me off playing with dolls when I turned 10, because she said I was too old (ridiculous idea)and I did stop playing with them, but now I regret listening to her. Lego is great fun and better as an adult as you probably have more patience and creativity. Have fun!
