Has anyone on here ever been in a relationship with very large barriers such as racial, religious, status, etc. differences that you had to overcome?

I have, where there were racial and religious differences. Me and her loved and still do love each other very much, but there was a lot of added stress from outside factors such as parents and family. Her family loved me until they found out we were together. It made for a tough situation, but she is well worth it.

Never had a religous issue. Which I was surprised, because my fiance was raised Jehovah's Witness and I was raised 7th Day Adventist. And these are two strict religions who definitely do not see eye to eye.

I have never been in this situation.when I introduced my boyfriend to my parents, they just like him very much, although he is very poor, but my parents think if only he is a man of good virtue, then we will be happy.and fortunately, his parents like me very much too.so there is no barriers in my relationship!

Yes, I have been in such kind of situation too, My GF's father hope that she will get married with a rich man. but the problem is I'm not rich. her father can not allow her to get married with me.So her father become a huge barriers between my GF and I.I really love my GF.I strongly desire to live with her. I had made a decision that I would never give up her although her father disagree us.I will try my best to earn money.
