Anklets superstitious belief

I love anklets. I wear them all the time. I'm not superstitious at all. I am not single and I am engaged so this sure can't say too much then.

Hello dear glitzypurple. Like you, I do not believe it, either. That is what people gossip at their leisure time and it is not theoretically correct. In fact, there are many similar sayings that are not reasonable at all...

I have heard of this before, but hardly anyone goes by that here!

I never heard that superstitious I think its not true my friend just like you loves anklet but she got married last month. The anklet story I've heard is if someone gave you an anklet you will be forever.

hehehe I have never heard of this one before. It's a good one and cute. I am married so I couldn't tell you if this is true as I do wear ankle socks too. I don't like long socks. I don't believe in superstitions, but at the same time when I hear one I try it sometimes. For example, I was at my girlfriends house and we were going to bingo. She has a budda figurine and she rubbed his tummy and told me to do the same. She said it will bring us luck. So I tried it and guess what. We both won $100 at bingo that night. Now I'm not saying it was just because we rubbed his belly, we probably would have won anyways, but it was fun and it was cute that it seemed to work.

There are probably a lot more superstitions out there,I wouldn't believe any of them,wear your anklet and don't make others suffer because of superstition.

I love ankle braclets and I used to wear them all the time BEFORE I got married so I don't beleive in that supersition I have been married 10 years next month and I still wear ankle braclets in fact I got a gorgeous one for Christmas this year!

i dont know that superstitious about anket,but i do have anklets and im married.

Hi glitzy I've never heard of this superstition, but I know others similar: if you sit in the corner of the table you can never be married, if two people say the same thing at the same time they have to touch their noses unless they are not getting married etc. They are all silly in my opinion. Have a good time wearing anklets :)
