Messages for those 'myLotters' I haven't heard from, in a very long time

Well here we are, at the beginning of a brand new year. I can hardly believe I've been a member of the myLot community for a whole year now. It's been great, and I've learned so much, and met many wonderful new friends.:)
I've been thinking about those people that I used to communicate with regularly here, and had come to appreciate. Suddenly, some of them disappeared, from 'the myLot radar.'
Since a new year means a new beginning to me, I've decided to contact those who fall into the 'above category,' via PM. I've started with a couple of them this morning.
I'm looking forward to seeing what responses I get from them, if any. I hope they're doing okay, but in case any of them aren't, thought they may appreciate hearing from 'an old friend.'
Do you ever wonder what happened to some of these people, from your friends list?
Most of us have heard the expression, "Falling through the cracks." Sometimes, it just takes somebody to reach out (I believe).
Have you ever considered doing this, regarding 'now inactive' friends on your list?
Have you done this, and if so, what results did you get?

Yes, someonesmom...so many of my friends have disappeared and I often wonder what happens to them. I never delete them just in case they do come back..Sometimes I think maybe they've just gotten real busy..I often hope that's all it is, and they haven't suffered from some major illness or something. I never thought to PM them though...have you heard from anyone you've PM'd???

I've been wondering this as well, and so far, no one has responded to my PM's. I was hoping to be able to report some success here.:( I too hope that these 'friends' are alright. One person on my friends list has just started posting again, after a very long absence, and it's really good to see her. Thanks for sharing.

I've had that experience too. Some of my friends are AWOL/MIA for real long stretches of time...then bingo out of the blue they reappear so I'm always so glad to see them again

Well sweety even when I was on my extended break I really appreciated the support and friendship shown to me in your mails! You really are a loving and caring person and a great friend to have - and I am sure you will get responses!
I know from my own experience that ill health, stress ands many other things can keep you from coming online or at least spending ewnough time online to maintain contact but that someone reaching out and remembering you can help you feel much better! xxx

You are so very welcome, and you're a very caring person yourself. I feel so bad, that you've had to suffer like this for so long. I agree, and it's a wonderful thing to have somebody show that they care, when we're at our lowest, or just to inquire if we're okay. Sadly, so far I've had no responses, so can only hope they're all okay, and have just moved on. Take care, and thanks so much for your friendship.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard from any of the ones I've contacted. I do hope they're okay. Like you, I like to know that people I've come to count as friends, are alright, and don't like them to just disappear. Thanks for sharing.

Hey someonesmom I often think of my old friends and wonder where they are. I think alot of them have moved on. I think its a great idea to PM them and see if you get a response. As you know all of my old friends have been deleated somehow and now I have new friends but I still have a couple of the old ones. Let us know how you make out with it. I do miss my old friends and Im sure you do too.

Sadly, I haven't heard from anyone that hasn't been around for a long time, that I've contacted. I hope you're doing well with all of your new friends here, and the old ones too. Yes, there are a couple of old friends I especially miss. Thanks for sharing.

I've tried many times to keep my friends in one place or at least manage some form of getting to keep upto date with them but it's sadly not always an option. I've lost count of the amount of friends I do care and like that no longer come here, or return my messages.
I guess it's because lifes always changing.
My focus for now is to appreciate those friends a little bit more and if I do notice someone growing inactive I do message them and ask if they'd keep in contact. Now, if they do great but if they don't well I'll move on. I've noticed that my time can either be appreciated, just like my caring nature or it doesn't. I really don't have time to keep on trying all the time, so I hope that they'll return the messages when they can.

It can be hard to keep track of everyone, but I do my best to keep up with those that I feel are 'real friends.' So far, I haven't heard from 'any of the missing,' that I've contacted.:( I hope that 'my friends' will return my messages too, even if only a few lines. By the way, I've been missing you again, and hope you're okay. Thanks for sharing.

I had just responded some discussions of friends on my list and some on those not listed. Many had been inactive and others tried their very best to be visible as ever. It always nice to be back here in mylot meeting new and old friends.

myLot is a great place to be, even after a bit of an absence. I know I really miss everyone, when I'm away for awhile. Thanks for your response.
