Mylot and users Abusing other Users of this site

It bothers me that most of my posts are not about telling people to use my posts to drag others to thier links or blogs, if they want to do this than they should post their own posts, we are all here to try and make money and to share information with others not to steal people that have responded to our posts for their benefit. Mylot is a great site but people abuse it, and I try hard to post topics that others may find interesting not jumping into others posts to try and steal ideas from others or drag members to their blogs etc. START YOUR OWN IDEAS AND POSTS......

Yea, its sad that MyLot is abused in the ways you described here. I would get very suprised if i would find a place on the internet not being abused, think it has something to do with human nature. I agre its boring because it hurts the rest of us serious users with good intent, when people find ways to abuse the system just to get some extra traffic or something. If they want it so badly i agre they should start their own discussion and not hiyack other discussions that other people started, thats bad Netiquette.

Thank-you for your response, I have posted many posts and some of them don't have responses, so I keep trying but I don't jump into others posts to say check out my site or here is a good link check it out, if I would like people to join my sites that I have joined I start a post about it...

your welcome :). the behavior you are talking about is not posting responce but spamming. Often they hold nothing of value to others, just some stuff about how great this site is supposted to be and how great it is to be a member. Responces like that should be reported and removed because they are abusing and as i said earlier, offer little to no value.
I agre that if id want people to join something, id start a discussion about it. about some of your discussions not getting any responcases, don't know what can be a reason to that, i respond most often to discussions i find interesting.

That's issue has been here, eversince. I think we just have to avoid them, since we don't really know their exact motives on why they'd started that discussion. In most cases, it's been a "you vs. me" or "you vs. me.. and my friends" situation.
I don't pay attention much to them, I only give my best responses to those I believe deserves it. Besides, there's more than just earning money here and quarelling over petty issues..

Yes it is right. I have seen this from the time I started here. Many people copy paste just other's discussion. some just don't copy paste but in turn start the discussions same as already been done by some. there are very few posts that are original I must say.

For the biggest part I agree with you.
However; "we are all here to try and make money" I'm not here for money, mylot has never been about money for me and I'm sure it'll tick people off when they labled her for those reasons. (I'm not being funny) I'm actually here because I was swept away with the amount of care I was shown, I grown a large amount of friends who I enjoy coming to see and discuss things.
You're right, sadly some do abuse mylot but you need to remember no sites totally free of abusers unless it's actually new and sooner or later they'll attract them. Please don't let it bother you so much, you'll find out what I'm talking about with friends and when you notice how fun that part is you'll forget about those who are lame. I've noticed that many people are starting discussions regarding what someone said, not like this but one's which are aimed for money and it ticks me off. responses aren't everything, I've actually watched over the system and it doesn't make a large impact on the amount you earn. :)
