Anelka for chelsea?

Blues already had there 12 million pound offer rejected for Anelka by bolton.I think they undervalued a player like him.i hope they make an improved bid for him and get him in the team caz when drogba leaves for African Nation there wont be any goal scorer in the team as Pizzaro and shevchenko have proved time and again that they just cant play football in English style

I hope he stays put. Chelsea have already messed up their fair share of players and he doesn't need a team that expects, more like one which he can play his own style and focus on doing well. He won't with chelsea, because they'll soon moan like they with shev when he wasn't scoring. I guess that's what happens when your spoiled but moving back to the discussion, since he left arsenal his career was either "high" or "low" and many of the teams joined didn't value him as a player and he's a great natual striker but this isn't the type of player that chelsea should approach because I stronly feel they'd mess him up. When he doesn't strike the ball well, he'll be made fun of and when he scores he'll be loved and they'll never realize that most of chelseas fans are only supportive since the intake of money. (not all) but a large percent. Most will revert when they lose the chairman and then it'll leave them messed up and what was a good team will become the next leeds untied. ~Joey

Well it looks set that Chelsea are to speed up the signing of Bolton Wanderer's striker Nicolas Anelka in a bid to strengthen their attacking options ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hortspur. Chelsea's striking crisis has been compounded by an ankle injury to Andriy Shevchenko while Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou are on international duty with the Ivory Coast for their African Nations Cup build-up. Although as mentioned their initial bid has been rejected, out of desperation I believe Chelsea will just fork out any price tag that Bolton will put on Anelka
