Now, it's winter in China. What the country looks like in winter? Well, I think in the North China, it's very cold, and the snow...the whole place is white... But in the South China, the Guangdong province where I'm living now, isn't so cold, and of course no snow...lol...I haven't seen the snow yet... And the trees are green, the sky is so blue, the sun is shining, the flowers are so beautifull in this city...just not like winter, though sometimes it would be very cold... Then, what about your winter? A white wold? Always rains? Like my winter? Or no winter? What will it be? Please share with me, the snow and the snowman... something interesting in winter... I appreciate all that you telling... Have good winter days ^_^

Hey zelsing. I am in Zhejiang and the temperature here today is about 6 to 13 centigrade degrees, but in the early morninig, it is around 1 to 2 centigrade degrees. A few more weeks ago, it was very cold with the temperature around -3 to 4 centigrade degrees because of the cold air from Siberia. Now it is nice when the cold air is gone, but we have not had the first snowfall yet this year. I am looking forward to the first snow some day in late January or early February. There was one year when it snowed very early on December 1st, which was an exception. It is nice that you live in a place like the spring weather. I love warm weather.

Well, a few days ago, it was cold here, 8 centigrade degrees in the morning, may be the same reason of the cold air from Siberia. And the snowfall...it makes me really want to have a look... the snow must be very beautifull... And yes, it's nice that living in a spring place, I love warm weather too...but not hot, in fact, I don't like hot weather...if I have to choose between the winter and the summer, I think I'll choose the winter...heyhey... Have a nice winter~ ^_^

Winter in Montreal - A snow covered car in a snow covered street in Montreal
It's also winter here in Montreal, QC, Canada, and it's snowed a whole lot so far this year...We usually get about 200 cm of snow per winter, we already had about 140 cm!! This week has been warm though, with temperatures around 8-10 degrees celsius...it's usually -15 to -20 degrees celsius at this time of year! This week is also the 10 th anniversary of the disastrous ice storm that hit Quebec and Ontario in 1998. The worst we've ever seen! Now that the cool weather has melted all the snow, they're announcing snow for the next 8 to 10 days!!!

It doesn't fall all at once. We can get like 40 cm, then 15 of those will melt by the time some more fall, and it can only be like 5-10cm this time. It always varies.

here in Southeast Alaska where in the town i live in it's kinda warm and we got a thin blanket of snow and some parts of the moutain here. I see the grass sticking up it's that thin. but on the streets and sidewalks and flat ground no snow, or ice. I live in a residence area on the mountain and up here we got some snow but mostly ice. so its hard to walk around without falling on the ice. we've had this for 3 days. It usually rains here and melts it away, but that hasn't happened yet. everyday we get more snow. I hope it rains soon. I used to hate all the snow we get in this part of alaska, but here in this tiny town I don't mind the rain in the winter. If anyone from the states don't mind small town and wants warm weather to visit alaska, visit Ketchikan, Ak. Its the warmest your going to get and not to tiny of town.

I live in Arizona in the United Staes. Most people when they think od Arizona they think about Phoenix, the desert. The part I live in does get some snow. It has been really cold her lately. Not as cold as it has been for you though. Where I grew up though in Connecticut, the east coast it really gets cold. To the bone cold.

When most people think about Arizona they think desert. Just plain hot but their are prts of Arizona that do get cold and snow. I live about 90 miles north of Phoenix and it is a lot cooler than there. Also Flagstaff Arizona, where I used to live gets a lot colder than where I live now. Today it was 9 degrees there at 7am. They get a lot more snow than I do. Flagstaff is about 143 miles north of Phoenix. One year when I lived there in one weekend we got 21" of snow. Lets just say I couldn't get out of my driveway.

I live in sunny Singapore, so no prizes for guessing that we have summer conditions the whole year round. The trees do not shed their leaves and they look green throughout. Unlike temperate countries, weather-wise we are not affected by the seasons but we do have monsoons affecting us twice a year. During monsoon seasons, we get more rain and wind, and the temperatures can get lower slightly. In between, it is hot and humid and temperatures can hit 34 or 35 deg C. As far as the seasons go, the daylight hours can shift slightly at certain months of the year where the day gets brighter a little earlier and also end a little earlier. Other than that, it is green and warm practically the entire year.

Hey I love in the southern most part of India and Here the winter is not very cold .usually the temp at night is about 20 C and at day times it is about 23-24 C inwinter. In summer it may go up to 5 degrees. So I think the extremeties are not here and is actually a good place to live in.But in the northern part of India it is more colder and actually snows.I haven't till now seen snow.Well it is good to live in this country with this climate. This climate I think is similar to Cyprus.

Everyday morning it is white here and there, but that is is fog not snow, the air is moist and make the people feel nippy cold, for this, the resident here always have a chaffy dish with there friends, it is delicious, want to eat? come here

Well, if I have chance to come to Chongqing, I'll have a try~ Thank you~ And, Henan, just near the Zhanjiang where I'm studying, so I think it's not so cold too in winter. Chongqing, it's said that it's a fog city, very fogy and moist. But sometimes it's fogy and moist in Zhanjiang too. Have a beautiful winter~^_^

I live in Canada and this year we are having a very snowy winter. I have built several snowmen with my kids, as well as snowwomen (my daughter insisted). The snow varies from slushy to crisp and crunchy when you step on it, depending on the temperature. Our coldest day so far has been 12 degrees below zero celcius. But there are time in February that we have been known to experience 20 to 25 degrees below zero.BRRRRR.

Zlesing, Hello, i live in New York, upstate. Close to the Adirondacks mountains. we usually have lots of snow, during this time of year. For some reason we are getting warmer weather. we just got hit with a big snow storm in December, but it all seems to be melting very fast now with the weather getting better. but i believe that by march we should have another big snow storm. when we get snow we get about a foot of snow. glad to see the weather getting better. maybe when we get hit again i can talk a picture and share with everyone the weather i get.

I live in Nebraska in the middle of the United States. The winters here are weird it can be really cold and we can have lots of snow on the ground or it can be above normal temps like it has been this week with the highs in the 40's we do have alot of snow on the ground and lots of snowmen around. If we get rain here in the winter it is freezing rain and it makes the roads and sidewalks really slick and icy not much fun.

I live in Buenos Aires Argentina, though originally from The States. Here it's summer now and we have temps of up to 103F/36C. Winters here are mild and it rarely gets down to 40F but last winter we had snow flurries as the temps dropped to 35 or so. This was the first time in snowed since 1928 (or something like that).

In the part of Sweden i live in there has been snow in short periods during winter, now it seems that the snow that came after christmas is going to melt away. Maybe ten years ago the winter was cold and dry, now its going towards not so cold and wet. When i was younger i liked it cold and dry, then i liked riding my sledge down hill and stuff. Nowadays i am not so fond os snow. At least not slushy snow, it has to me a little damp otherwise you can't make stuff out of it. Would like to have a white winter but i don't think it will be possible with gloval warming and stuff.
