Alright I know every person starts there morning different and I was wondering How do you start your morning and do you have things that you only get done in the morning? For example I get four kids ready for school and out the door before I do anything else then after that is said and done I start a load of laundry and do the dished that are left over from the night before. I try and do all my cleaning in the morning otherwise I kinda get side tracked and lose my motivation to get it done later on. What about you ?

I get 3 kids out the door for school before anything else. Then depending on what kind of night I've had I either go back to bed and wait for the baby to wake me up or I stay awake and do neglected house work.

I'm like you bella. I get all my chores out of the way. Then, the rest of the day belongs to me. I do the things I don't like to do first. That way, I can do the things I like to do and don't have to be bothered with the others. If I don't keep on schedule, it makes me a mess for the rest of the day.

Terilee, I have to agree with you when you don't keep on schedule it sets a bad pace for the rest of the day. I really hate it when I end up having to mess my day up because my schedule goes to the way side. But I also do the things I hate first. Thanks for your response and have a nice day.

I'm usually still trying to wake up if I get up before noon. I work at home as a medical transcriptionist, so I pretty much set my own hours. My dear and loving husband loves to bang and talk loudly a lot when he gets up at 5. He loves to walk into our room, turn on the light and then get what he needs and then leave without turning it off. Makes me so mad. I usually start working around 9 or so. Sometimes earlier of the doctors need their files back.

It depends on the day if i stay up late or not. I happen to be more considerate and if I do stay up, I go up front to the living room to watch TV as not to bother him. But you're right, I might need to start.

Anything that I can get done the night before, I do it then when the kids are in bed....wash the dishes....put out their clothes for the morning. The first thing I do in the morning is take a shower(yes, I do get up earlier than anyone else for this because I don't have the time later..lol). I then make breakfast and get my older son ready for school and start a load of laundry. I then drop him at the gate to catch the school bus and it's only after that that I sit to think what I really need to get done that day and what I need to cook for the day.

lol...my better half would never think of doing that...'Me..with all those ladies in the morning..no way!' - it's another fact where one father religiously gets his daughter down for the bus. He's the only one among us ladies. Some days if I'm lzy to pull on something presentable in the morning before my son leaves, he goes down on his own and I watch from the balcony to make sure he is safe. He doesn't have to go out of the apartment complex...so I know it's ok.

Well at the bus stop my son and daughter go to it's like about a block from the house and the only other kid that rides the bus live at the house in front of the bus stop so he doesn't even have to interact with anyone. I count myself lucky on the days I get to not go down. My other two ride a different bus that picks them up right in front of the house. I wish I could put the other two on it but alas I can't. Have a nice day!

Like you I also put on a load of laundry before heading for work. But I make sure to clean the dishes and kitchen the night before. I love waking up to a clean kitchen (set the mood for the day). Other things I do in the morning are to read the newspaper a bit, feed the cats, and answer a few email. They really pile up and I feel better heading to work having answered a few. Basically what I'm describing is chores. Like you sadi, motivation may be lacking later in the day.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. Unforutnately with 5 kids and no dishwasher and hand washing dishes some just a few dishes get left for the morning. Usually anything that I think need soaking. but other than that my kitchen is spotless. Yeah my emails seem to pile up really quickly. I have no clue why. have a nice night.

I run to the coffee pot and put on the coffee. After that I go brush my teeth, wash my face and hands and brush my hair and tie it back. I then go and have my coffee and throw on the radio. After I'm done my coffee I then go and get my youngest daughter if shes awake I get her ready for the day. My oldest does this on her own. After that I do the dishes. I make breakfast and come and sit down to relax as the kids play. That's pretty much my morning routine.

I wake up with my spouse at 4:15 am. I make his lunch and send him off to work. I then can go back to sleep while still sleepy (an hour gone by) but rarely do. I always do some puttering around the house, start a chore or cleaning duty then I work on my artwork. I usually have a nap later in the day (especially since recent surgery). Jordan only works 4 days a week. We live slow-paced, relaxed lives. We do what we want, when we want. If we don't do anything at all--that's ok too.

The first thing I absolutely have to do every morning is grab myself a cup of coffee. Then I wake up my daughter for school. While she's getting ready I let the dog out, feed both the dog and cat, scoop the litterbox, feed and water the outside cats and then see my daughter off to the bus. I'm like you with the cleaning and laundry too, I have to get it going in the morning or I don't feel like doing it later.
