Over the last couple of months since Jagex announced & started introducing their new updates against real world trading I've heard lots & lots of protests against it. People have been complaining about the bots for years but now that Jagex has finally completely quashed them there's even more crying. Yesterday I even heard about a protest being staged because some members felt that F2P shouldn't be able to use the duel arena. Apparently sharing isn't in their vocabulary. People are complaining about the prices in the exchange. Apparently these people don't realize that we're the ones setting the prices. Every time we buy something for the minimum price we drive it's value down. I've already adjusted to the new updates & for the most part I have no problem with them. The hardest thing so far is working around team running laws when my runners don't have a tiera or tallisman. Even so it only makes it take a few seconds longer to distribute & craft everything. How have you adjusted to the new updates?

I don't really mind most of the updates. My only complaint is the 3k trading cap and Bounty Hunter. My friend baught me full rune (t) but I can't even get it thanks to the 3k trade max. Jagex is starting to go downhill really fast thanks to their 'genious' update. You wouldn't believe how many times I've heard, "Runescape used to be cool, but ever since the trade update, I quit." Bounty Hunter is really dumb too. Once they get 1 on 1 Bounty hunter, I'll be satisfied. But until then, there's no point in runescape other than showing off your high levels to your low level friends.

1 on 1 bounty hunter would pretty much be like the duel arena wouldn't it? Mind you you couldn't make as much profit off of it. The 3k trade limit isn't the max either. Get more quests under your belt & you can take up to 30k loss or profit every 15 minutes. You & your friend could still toss money & the rune stuff back & forth for a while until you get the whole set transfered.

When you say everybody is complaining about the prices, they are right in a sense. Yewlongbows, they cost around 550-620 before the forced trade, now it costs around 700-750. Simple?

It's not a forced trade & we're the ones changing the prices. People were obviously buying them for the higher prices which drove the price up further.

I think that runescape is so dum because i was addicted to it for 3 years and i finally quit. I have now herd there is no more Pking well that so stpid because now there is no point to the game. The game used to be fun and now i herd all you do is walk around and do nothing. Jagex has made so many mistakes with this game its not even funny. Its no longer fun for people to play atleast the ones that are still playing.

I think it's still fun. There is still pking, they've just limited it to a smaller area in minigame format so there's no way for people to hide to do their real world trading. Most of the ones who are complaining are ones who did NOTHING but PK but now find it difficult to escape cleanly. With the pking in a smaller area split into divisions the lower levels of a division are crying like crazy instead of improving themselves to be better. They cry when a higher level kills them yet they want to be the higher level player killing lower ones & making someone else whine. It's a whole bloody crying cycle. There's lots to do besides PKing but that seems to be all some people are into.
