MSN and thier Perception of Beauty......I for one am not impressed.

Today when I logged out of my email, I saw an article on the MSN page that comes up, after logging out of Hotmail, that listed the Top 9 Ugliest actors and actresses. Now some of the men on the actors list may have been pretty ugly, I didn't really look at it very closely. But what I did have to look at was the one for the women, and I have to say, I was offended. I will list for you now, in the same order, the 10 female actresses that MSN seems to think are ugly, and what I think: 1. Christina Ricci: Actually, if you look up the ideals of beauty, Christina is perfect, the large forehead and small body are specifically listed as indicators of beauty on the following page: http://www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakultaeten/phil_Fak_II/Psychologie/Psy_II/beautycheck/english/kindchenschema/kindchenschema.htm 2. Fairuza Balk: Ok, in the picture they provide it looks like she has a bit of an under-bite, but I think she is very pretty. 3. Heather Matarazzo: Okay, I don't know much about this actress, and she does have something unfortunate going on with her teeth and gums, but beyond that, I don't think she is ugly. 4. Helena Bonham Carter: Okay, she dresses wierd, how does that make her ugly? She is making a wierd face in the picture but it's not really an ugly face. 5. Juliette Lewis: Now I will admit that there is something about this girl that makes her look...well...no very smart, but she isn't ugly, in fact I'm pretty sure she has made some "hottest" lists in the past. 6. Renee Zellweger: Not ugly. They used a picture of her that maks her look like she needs some good wrinkle cream, but I'm sure they chose that picture of purpose. 7. Rosie O'Donnell: Well she is kinda heavy and doesn't wear makeup but it's really not fair to be compareing her to someone who is trying really hard to look good, she is more focused on what she is saying then how her hair is, and still, I would not call her ugly. 8. Sandra Bernhard: Okay, yeah, she is really wierd looking, so shouldn't she be number 1 instead of Christina Ricci? 9. Sarah Jessica Parker: Well personally I do find her face kid of odd, but I'm not really sure what is it about her, and I don't think she is ugly, I think she just has the wrong haircut or something. Now they do give these actresses credit for thier talents and stuff in what they say about them in this article, but many, actually most of them do not deserve to be listed on an article titled "Less than Lovely Leading Ladies".
