What would you do if "mylot" somehow crashed and lost all the numbers....

of everyone who is joined in here above our avatars showing how many "points" we have accumilated since joining, but they got the system back up,nothing else was changed, only that we lost "our" number and there was no-way,i mean no-way of retrieving it ever and we had to start all over again from the first discussion made to the first response.Would you have the will power to start over or just say forget it and leave?

A retreat, a place to chat and giggle... See my hubby doesn't get that. He doesn't understand why I go absolutely nuts between these four walls! Yeah I'm a busy lady but heck I need adult interaction too!!!

Well if this was to happen I am pretty much certain that there would be a mass revolt! Although many of us would like to think that we are not here for the "accolades" or the money I am sure that these things would all of a sudden become important if they were to be lost! Would I have the willpower to start all over again? Probably, but it would take me some time I think to get back into the swing of things..... I have never cashed in on my earnings so it isn't the money; for me it is a release from the daily crap! So I am sure I would be drawn back eventually!

I would be so mad right now if that were to happen. I am just 72 cents away from payout, and I would be highly upset if I had to start from scratch. I don't think I would quit right away though if this were to happen. I would have to see who stays and who goes, just to see the content of the discussions. You know some people are going to leave off rip anyway. I would have to see what the quality of posting would be like, both discussions and responses. From there I would determine if it would be beneficial to stay.

If it's just the numbers, I would not mind starting all over again. Maybe because I haven't reached high numbers or even gotten into four figures yet. But if I lost all friends and discussions, I will be broke for sure, I have invested a lot of time for it. I might or might not start all over again, it depends on my state of mind in the aftermath of that incident. I sincerely hope such a thing never happens.

I believe that a good part of the myLot community would start a "virtual riot" and eventually disappear, but the rest will continue on. Personally, I'm here for the conversation and not that much for the money. When I first joined I didn't even know you get paid for having discussions.

I don't really pay attention to my number, peanutjar. Although if someone has a low number I guess I think of them as a "newbie". What I would miss is my 10 star rating. Now THAT would bum me out!

Nope, I'd just start over...actually it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I got there once, I can do it again. It would take something massive to make me leave. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I really don't think I would have the power to start all over again. I know that I don't have that much points, I mean for me 500 is much but there are people here who have 20 times that, but i still think I wouldn't start all over again. I like myLot but I also enjoy seeing my points grow so if they are all gone I wouldn't watch them grow again.

I can see only those with higher numbers are concerned with this. It would be ok for me because that way we will all be even...(sarcartic grin)lol.

well, i will definitely come back... there are other much more important things here rather than just the number... the friendship, the fun, the knowledge and the atmosphere... it will be a shame to lose it all just because of the number... so i will definitely come back...

Hi peanutjar...what a great queation! I wouldn't leave mylot because I am here for more than the points and the money. I like seing the points go up and I of course enjoy the little money that I get, but the friends and conversation is worth more to me, plus I learn new things.

Well that would be hectic. But if that crash happened I would jus simply start over. I like this site and all the people that are in it. I dont think its about the money, its about the discussions and all the friends I've made. ~WiteNgtOwl

It is okay as long as their payment is accurate. For me, those number of posts are just mere indicators of how far we have gone in this site. But the learning we gained through posting and conversing with other members here and the pay we got for exerting effort is far more important.
