I put water first and then milk. But I heard putting milk first is the correct method. That will give taste to the tea.

Hmm thinking if you put water in tea it makes it weaker tasting. But if you put milk in it that it makes it like sitting by a warm fire. Kinda like what it feels like drinking cocoa by a fire!Warms you up!

I've always put the water in first...I'm not sure that it is so much a concious decision as out of habit.

actually i prefer both, for either cold or hot tea. if i use water in tea i usually put some extra such as lemon or calamansi juice in the cases of brisk tea since it is not advisable in my palate to put lemon juice in a tea with milk... i appreciate both of them...

milk in first! always. Even though i'm not making it in a teapot I always put the milk in first and wait for it to get stronger. People say it doesn't make a difference to the taste but it does. It's more subtle, even if it is strong, when you put the milk in first. what about you?

I usually don't put milk in my tea. . .If I want to give it that creamy texture I use coffee creamer as a substitute. But that's after I mix the tea with water. ^^'
