What do you think of this mother ?

Yesterday , I saw that a mother went out happily after she paid for her kid , and let her kid to have a dinner lonely, and until the kid finish his dinner , her mother has not showed up , the kid shoudl come home lonely!

thats wrong. how old was the child?? i know restaurants here would never let anyone do that. someone would probably call the police if they were underage.

This mom seems to be very irresponsible. However, on the hand hand, it may be a good practice for this child. He has to learn how to be independent.

I think it was a wrong method to make your child independent. she should try to make him independent in her presence. well that was true that she was irresponsible kind of mother . She should sit with her child and take care of her child from all condition as there may be he was kidnapped or being raped by anybody ..........................

I could never and would never leave my child alone anywhere at anytime! Dinner time is family time at our house, talking about each others day. I think this mother has missed another one (of very many, I'm sure)times to connect with her son.

I have seen the same scene just like you have.The mother asked the headwaiter to take care of her children. I think maybe she has something very urgent and she thought her nine-year-old son can take care of himself well or maybe their home is just nearby.
