When you post comments, does it add to your number of posts?

I think it doesn't. But shouldn't it be? They're posts too. And I enjoy commenting rather than posting responses. Have you noticed if it's added, or is this happening only to me?

Hi swirlz :D Naaah... don't worry about numbers of posting the important thing is the quality of your post.I've been done post with short comment and not at good quality and my earning is not good to. One time i post very long and so much to discus and i got good earning at one only post.

LOL. I understand :D because i've been there before lol! well then i find a way to make my post little bit fast by responding the person discussion at myLot that responding mine. So i'm helping them to increase their discussion that have minimal responses only maybe 3 or 4 person. That's makes their discussion appears again in the hot discussion. Would you like to responding mine?? (-blink-blink-blink- with a cute face)

But it's taking me so long to reach 500 posts. hehe. I spend more time commenting rather than posting responses to discussions.

No, it doesn't. It remained the same. Oh well. I guess it will take me longer to reach my goal, that is to reach 500 posts. Unless if I post less comments...

IF you comment in your own discussion or in a discussion that you have already responded / comment then it will not count.But if you post a comment in someone else response and you have not responded in that discussion , then it will be added :)

Hi swirlz, our posting number will go up only if we have posted a response to any mylotter’s discussion. The posting number will not raise or remain the same, if we add any comments to the responses of our own discussions or other mylotters’ discussions as well.

i don't think it adds to our number of posts. if it does then i probably would have reached my 3000th post a long time ago! and maybe even my 5000th post! ^__^;;

This post is a lot of months old and I just feel like responding. I hope you don't mind. Comments don't add to the post number. I think it is designed that way so we cannot easily reach the 200th post where we can have the privilege of using emoticons and the 500th where we can have the privilege of copy/paste. I guess what this system likes us to do is to share our knowledge. If we would like to increase our number of post, we must respond to others more. In that way, we not only the one who is earning. Maybe commenting can be abused.

Oh I'm happy you responded even if the discussion is old. I do think you're right. Some people would only comment with a line or a few words, only to reach 500 posts right away, or to earn as much as they can. After this discussion I understood that you only get one point for every discussion you respond, despite the fact that you commented on every resonse in that discussion. So the number beside our name in parenthesis isn't the number of posts, but the number of discussions we participated in.
